no where in the article does terry say the trio(terry, lamps, drogba) are bigger than the manager and yet soccernet says exactly that in the very first sentence of the article.

its clear that soccernet and journalists in england completely misunderstood what terry meant. its simple really.. he meant that he, lamps, and drogba have been strong leaders of the team these past few years and helped keep the dressing room together throughout this transition period at chelsea. but no where does he say the trio are bigger than the manager.. he says CHELSEA FOOTBALL CLUB is bigger than the manager, not the players.. there is a difference.

but on the other hand i cant help but feel journalists and soccernet understood this is what terry meant but purposely twisted the story in other to make it a more interesting headline.. which is sad really.. but unfortunately the english press does this all the time so its no surprise really

where else when a team score a 2nd goal against us , they cant even held their head up . they just walk away. only in stamford bridge. only with chelsea.
sufficient to say , my palm were red , cant stop clapping from stoke equalizer to our 2nd goal until the 7th goal. ( 1st goal - i was washing dishes )

i stood up while patting my imaginary chelsea badge over my heart , but i cant scream because wife is sleeping beside me, when John Terry scored with a thunderous header. from 82 min onwards i watched the game standing in front of the TV. while feeling proud of what JT have done after all the circus surrounding him.

he played with all his heart , no ball or burnley men passed him, his eyes are so full of desire. u can clearly see his face prior to the start of the game , sooo distraught , full of problems, we can only imagine what burden was on his shoulder that day, and to produce a performance like last night , superb. he is a living legend even after what ever he allegedly did in his personal life.

once u step over that white line on the field , outside matters stays outside.
how many ppl can play and score like that on the day ur life hv been turned upside down all over the world to see and judge u ? only JT .
