Seems like a weak rally..

MGM will take months to climb back to 11, I think.. wink.gif

Weak rally huh? blink.gif
Look again at the major indexes. brows.gif

But, not sure about MGM. I think its technicals are broken.

ETFC is getting rather volatile lately. They should sort out the issue of who will be the next CEO soon so that the price can appreciate further.

congrats. You are on winning streak with ERX. Not my level yet. I wanna be day trader from now on. Sigh. Sial C, dragged my portfolio down. Luckily LVS helped a lot to recover. So far, still about -3.8K due to C ( I got 3,000 @ 4.63)

he got 4 screen to monitor. I have 1 only tongue.gif
experience count as well as cash.

The only thing I need to improve is SET TARGET. As always, my target is always off few cents. Like INTC, URE, UYG.. mad.gif

Look at the DOG AA.

Best performance today for 2009 in its sector.

Alcoa (AA:NYSE) was upgraded from Equal-weight to Overweight, Morgan Stanley said. $22 price target. Estimates also raised, to reflect higher expected alumina and downstream profits.

Aluminum is like last of the bad breed for metals. If they raise target for aluminum maker like Alcoa, you know what this means for others like steel or copper. Right?

Set your eyes on X, NUE, FCX and TCK.

I just love my TCK! rclxms.gif

Closing update

Dow 10414.14 +85.25 +0.83%
Nasdaq 2237.66 +25.97 +1.17%
S&P 500 1114.05 +11.58 +1.05%

Yes.. good day to take some profits off the table. nod.gif

woot, TCK was pre-teen, break 10 early may and never looked back.

Wish C is just like that, back to USD30, not USD3

Pickup some MGM for next 2 weeks trade. Short term based
LVS sold some to buy MGM.

Hi,

Been following this thread and must say lots of experts around...i'm quite new to US investing, previously used Etrade but switched to Ameritrade lately. Anyone with any experience with Ameritrade?

1) It's been 3 weeks and they have not 'approved' my account yet! I asked them and they are still 'processing', does it always take so long?

2) Anyone with any experience withdrawing from Ameritrade into a local bank like HSBC? Their customer service been giving me strange answers and it doesnt look very straightforward.

Do I need to open a US account or can I have Ameritrade send direct to my HSBC?

The gambling stocks do not look too good this in an up day like this.

C has recovered some from the lows but now.. its under pressure from the people selling into the rally.
C will have a bit of tough time trying go above 3.5 in the interim. nod.gif

Closing update

Dow 10464.93 +50.79 +0.49%
Nasdaq 2252.67 +15.01 +0.67%
S&P 500 1118.02 +3.97 +0.36

I did no trade today other than to let my longs ride higher and not ready to go short yet.
I think we got one more short leg up before Christmas break. nod.gif

I think all brokers do not allow to transfer money to third party. Correct me if I am wrong.

1) TD Ameritrade took 2 weeks to approve mine and I was able to fund it afterwards. It may take 3 weeks or longer during the holidays season (Christmas to New Year).

2) Ameritrade can't do ACH transfer with non-US bank. Just request a cheque or TT transfer.

Best way is send in your documentation via Pos Laju and a bank draft for the amount you wanted to fund.
Whole thing should take approx. 14 days.

Good luck!
