In that case, you may to wait for a little longer for the pullback. This train is going northbound now. tongue.gif
Just 15 more points for $SPX and 170 pts for $DJIA to reach target - perhaps 2-3 more trading days like this.

Or if you dare, scalp some on the way up.. with tight stop. brows.gif

What's your play, by the way?

My STEC average is USD 17.35, far to go... Bring it own... 9%, the best run lately.

Short being got squeezed. Share buy back is coming...

Added on March 5, 2010, 11:49 pm10,500 broken. Now 10, 575 is next, thanks for the good data for the past 2 days.

1 month ago, 10,000 is hard to maintain.

STEC has been cooked low for future fried. Have to wait patiently for it to grow back to 17.
I guess the stock has been short by speculators or "momo" so that they can buy it and cook back to > 17.

ES is another underestimated stock. Hold 200 for a weeks to see whether it will raise.

Now oil is high and dollar is low. Have to wait for another big dip to play ERX, MGM, LVS, C..

But if STEC drops again to 11.50, I will re-buy and ride the bull to 20++.. wink.gif

Added on March 6, 2010, 8:41 amBesides, if TM drops to 75 again, I will buy and ride the bull.. wink.gif

DMC, which counters do you plan to ride?

MGM, LVS, TNA, TCK, ERX? Need to find out the overestimated stocks..

Only observe at this point.. smile.gif

Added on March 6, 2010, 11:17 amMay be like this:

Short MGM at 12.05
Short LVS at 18.50

Have to find a right rally time and watch the price movement carefully.

How about others? wink.gif

no prob, good to see u know how to use it & hav a fighting ikan bilis mindset nod.gif
those $10 stock got better chance for volatility & using chart can see it for a better perspective
anyway, refer early nov09 gap down, notis the price when it moves up to resistance of $22, but can't break out
now look at late feb10, resistance is around $13, if greedy, could hav put an exit there
but as gamblers, imagine if the employment report was bad, things would go awry

Attached Image

nice swing trade rclxm9.gif cnsl, qdel, nuan, sncr - if the stock fa r good, can ride the swing trade upwards

Attached Image

all roket buy high, sell higher is yummy wub.gif My cucu wil be so happy
wonder when can short them? would indexes give a clue hmm.gif
depend on own profit / loss outlook, dun be overgreedy, support & resistance is a clue
rough guide for capital, enter 1/3 position, another 1/3 await index pullback, another 1/3 ride on 50ma
no pain, no gain icon_rolleyes.gif

Shorting is quite risky at this time. wink.gif

Bears have been beat with speculators and momo..

Unless I can find the right and accurate timing.. Any sifus here can share your shorting expertise/story?

Anyway, ES and STEC are those good stocks to keep for middle term..

Will buy another 100 or 200 if ES dip to $5 or STEC dip to $11.40.

For those that has reached 52 weeks high or going to get there will have high probability of pullback.
Take a look at TNA. brows.gif

I remember DJ was once open at 9.30pm (Malaysia time) but since last year winter, it opened at 10.30pm.

In fact what's the opening time for DJ during the respective seasons?

Ok.. Have to use TZA to short, instead, since TNA only for bull..

TNA will definitely go down, just that have to guess when.. wink.gif

TZA < $10, cannot use margin..

Added on March 7, 2010, 12:59 amBut for this TZA, the price keeps falling..

For TNA, it keep raising.. smile.gif

If MGM raises too high, may try to short small small.. smile.gif

Yes. TZA is the bear share of TNA. It is at 52 weeks low (inverse of 52 weeks high of TNA).
Watch its price action next week before diving in. It can make your heart pound 3x faster if you buy it without looking. tongue.gif

As this "energy saving" time.. US people call it "Daylights Savings Time", it begins next Sunday, not April. laugh.gif
I know this because I have to adjust my working hours too due to time difference adjustment at my call center. sweat.gif

Yupe.. shorting is always quite risky, have to look at the financial news or it really show signs to start to drop first.. wink.gif TNA can go back to $40 if the dip ever starts..

For "Daylights Savings Time", yupe, last time been in US for few months, then at some time, we have to wake up one hour early to go to office.. wink.gif Forget the exact date already...

Anyway, I like it to be 9.30pm, then can sleep earlier.. like what zaman said, the first hour is very volatile.. after that, just set a target price and go to sleep.. wink.gif

If not mistaken by 3rd week of March, the day light saving will be end
and US trading time will back to 9.30pm.

There is no expiration date unless you're playing option.. just that it will decay if the trend is not in your favor.

By the way, C holders - we got a break out today. If it can close above 3.5, we'll have a new trading range.
