Just got back from PC Fair guys, but currently chilling with friends at Curve.

There is a fully equipped ALIENWARE Booth. Even with Cosplay people. Darth Maul, a Klingon, HellBoy and another lightsaber totting alien.

Alienware brought in the full range excluding the aurora series. There were 2 DESKTOPs which is the AREA 51 and the AREA 51 ALX. There were also around 10 M17x there for people to play with but only 1 M15x. Check the price discussion thread on the great deal you can only get in this pc-fair.
Also a small gaming league and a photography contest going on which earns you prizes.... It was a great display and I felt like a lil boy so excited there.

Your 'sigh' is cuz you got the M15x, and not the studio xps? I suggest you take back the sigh. I wanted the studio xps too at first, but hey, the Studio XPS is not any better. Eventhough Alienware is part of Dell Corp. atm, but it's still Alienware and Dell. So make your choice. 

Razer Shoulder doesn't really hold the M15x well. I would say it's abit stuffed, with not much additional space for other stuff. Get a better bag, or rather bigger bag. I would suggest the Alienware Orion Msgr or Backpack. I'm using the Razer Shoulder, and trust me, it'll fit just nice. Nothing more, nothing less. Check out my blog. Pictures there showing how the M15x fits into the Razer Shoulder bag. Cheers mate! 

Yea, there's a zap on thingy to hold the laptop in place. To put the M15x, you gotta 'overwork' the strap if you know what i mean. lol

professionally speaking, pimping your M15x until the max still can't beat M17x.
and with that amount to money, you are looking at very decent specs of M17x already.

why? because i7 itself is already overkill.
but still, size is one of the main factor why people prefer M15x than its brother.

if you saying M17x is too heavy, so do your M15x. it just ~2kg lighter

cHEER UP bro. IT Seems their delivery dates cannot be trusted so Im guessing we'll all receive same time.

By the way, talking about backpacks, I can't imagine travelling with the M15x with my camera and lenses. It'll weight more than 10kg on my back..... 

Just encountered a problem with the Alien. Was watching DVD with the BD-Rom and suddenly Media Player stopped responding, and then everything stopped working. That includes live messenger. Windows tried to fix it but seems like it's stuck. I tried Task Manager and shut down from there, seems like its stuck as well. Gotta force shut down(by holding the power button). Is this a windows 7 issue? or the laptop issue?
