QUOTE(kelvin1989 @ Jan 17 2010, 12:01 AM) imho, it has nothing to do with jack sparrow dvd or original one, since dvd reading mechanism is the same for both of them, the only different will be the contents.... The problem is with the disc. Not contents. Already found out. This can happen to whatever disc be it the original ones or the jack sparrow ones. |

QUOTE(chaosneo @ Jan 18 2010, 08:07 PM) sorry if i'm not contributing yet. Starbucks? lol. I have M15x and now i'm too lazy to carry it around, even to university after viewing pictures, going through more than 127 pages of post, and another 60 plus post in V2, i have been afflicted by the poison, so now i am like a zombie craving for human flesh, but instead of flesh, i crave for M17x ... my symptoms of poison: - going to dell website to configure the M17x often. - going through Alienware Mothership thread, all the post. - dreaming in sleep of joining the alien invasion. - thinking of what FX colour would i use. - thinking of at least bringing it to starbucks once. uh oh... the poison spreading even more... |

I used to think,
"aiya weight is not an issue, i'll carry it around" but.. maybe its just me, its okay to carry it around, but not for TOO long. oh btw, i'm using the Alienware Orion Backpack, its a solid and "not so light" backpack. |

QUOTE(julchin_09 @ Jan 18 2010, 11:51 PM) Yup. Thats the idea. End of the day. The notebook is not comparable to the high end desktop when it comes to performance, but I can live with that knowing I can bring my work around. +1Like Screemo said, Maybe in the future, for me... when I settle down.... and buy my own house ..... Who knows? Mindset might change and I might get the desktop instead. But since I'm still mobile and always travelling.... Im sticking to my notebook. But every photographer would need a notebook anyway, So I forsee myself having a mobile system at least in the future as well..... QUOTE(cy-yang @ Jan 18 2010, 11:52 PM) wow.... AW desktop lagi What school?? nice 1.. btw, u guys think AW is a good replacement?? since u guys using it will know more.. my dream is AW too.. my skul getting 1 AW for my courses lecture for only presentation.. |

QUOTE(amunriel @ Jan 23 2010, 11:02 PM) Not to mention it makes m15x heavier as well LoL. Erm, sometimes the 9 cells do give you an edge. For example, during classes, when im using only flash/photoshop, the 9 cell batteries will last me the whole lesson without needing the power supply. If I'm using the 6 cells, i will need to plug in the power half way thru. But of cuz gaming, you need the battery. For casual usage, 9 cells FTW!! I personally love to stick with 6 cells since I dont think M15x is meant to be used on batteries XD. |
