Any1 get lower benchies after OC...?

Guys, need you help on this. Im using MSI 7900 GTO 512DDR3, why after OC also its still the same? I standard mark unOC also low ler.

can let us see ur spec be4 and after OC?

urs 79GTO can reach almost 10k.. single or SLi??

maybe ur oc ur GC is not stable....
try to get the stable oc....and try to run the bench many times...

hey, is the capacity of ram really2 effect the score?

as u can refer to my siggy, Rig 2..
i only overclock my proc and setting default clock for my gc.

before this, i only use 512MBx2 Kingston DDR2 667 ram. i score around 18k in 3dmark2001se

but now, i use 2x1gb Kingston DDR2 667, i score aroud 20k in 3dmark2001se

i thought that the capacity of ram didnt effect the score.

3DMark06 - Full Install - Build 1.1.0 used to benchmark ur PC like other benchmark's program like 3DMARK 2001, 3DMARK 2003, 3DMARK 2005, Aquamark3, and etc..

AFAIK, 3DMARK 2001 not really 100% depend on GPU, even a X800GT pawned a X1800GTO in 3DMARK 2001 just using a powerfull CPU. In ur case, adding more RAM making ur CPU and of course ur system to run 3DMARK 2001 more effectif. Correct me if im wrong

hmm.. even in 3dmark03 also i score around 10k(with 2gb ram) instead of 9k(using 1gb at that time). i didnt test on 3dmark05 yet because the graphic when it test my s*cky system really2 makes me annoying. yes its make my system more effective with my 2gb ram.

3DMARK 2003, CPU and GPU dependant.
Try out 3DMARK 2005 and 3DMARK 2006 , you will get almost same score as using ur 1G

3DMARK 2005 and 3DMARK 2006 more occurate to test out VGA. Beside, 3DMARK 2006 consider both CPU and GPU performance which i thing the best benchmark program to measure our PC's performance

duh..if 3dmark07 out..dunno la wats my score will be..
wif 3dmark06 got 2000+only..

my default 8600GE core/shader/memory is 650/1400/1000

1. something weird .. i forgot to plug in the 6pin pcie .. but still can use until after i install driver . then only i plug in .


2.after i install driver wiothout 6pin pcie .. then i shut down pc and use the MOLEX TO 6pin pcie copnnector .. as i see there is 2 molex head to plug MOLEX connector .. initially i plug in the 6pin pcie to the GC with only 1 MOLEX ... then i start up the pc .. while loading then i make up my mind to add another molex .. when the time i want plug in the molex .. got electric sparkling on the molex and PC straight away shut down .. then i switch off .. i still plug in the molex .. now there is 2 molex plugged in to the 6pin pcie connector .. i boot up , and it still can work .. any damage on my card ?

3.then i use 3dMARK06 to check the benchie without overclocking at 1st ..
everything setting on 3dmark06 is default .. coz i cant change it mayb its not registered
the result i get is only 4177 ..... normal ?seem very low

4.i try to OC using rivatuner ... increase around 10-20 mhz .. then test for the 1st and 2nd movie of that 3dmark06 ..i dont see any abnormal until 900 also no see anything .. izzit my eyes got problem ? then until 950 pc hang .. and i restart .. after restart , because of no time to try other , so i just put 900/1100 and let finish complete the test , then benchie i get only around 4300 ... normal ?

5.when running 3dmark06 with OC .. the temp around 76-78 highest ... normal ?

some expert help me .. coz i saw other 8600gt can go benchie till 5k+ ?
