For issue that some 4mb user have bad connection during night time, the customer service tell me that breakfield server is having some problem and cause this problem.

There are working on finding what causing such problem so user who connect to breakfield server hello to fukap connection during night time ba hai~~~~~

Hope there can solve it fast~~~~

Is their server problem.... i been complain for few day already. The technician say it take some times to fix. There are on process to check wat wrong with it.
Not Only u, There is quit a lot user outhere area facing the same problem.

u will lost abt 12db when upgrade from 1mb to 4mb (estimate)

so u left abt 18db only if ur current snr are 30 kind of risky and may encounter best cap at 4mb only (if 5mb cap u might facing frequent DC)

what i read at UK web state there u lost abt 6db per step.

512>1mb>2mb>4mb from 1mb to 4mb is 2 step so it is abt 12db +- depend on ur tel line quality and etc

If ur exchange is near ur house than possible of lost less db also.

well it lost db because for higher speed it need higher frequency so it will need more noise margin transfer data between ur line

If ur house and the nearest exchange have many cut and joint part in between ur line also will reduce the noise margin (db)

So is matter of luck i can say, The best ask TM tech come and test.

any chance a bad modem can cause unstable DSL?

Cause just now my D-link DSL520B keep hang and i saw the DSL light is blinking one. Than i take the TM riger modem to replace and i saw the DSL light is stable no blinking @_@

Cause when my d-link hang it can't log in the modem status.... Need try or wait only can in.
Some more the line doesn't DC just like data hang and modem there
