im using their Tamagohada's cleanser, with AHA and BHA acid peel..
at first im afraid the cleanser will irritate my skin, because of the AHA and BHA..
but when i use the cleanser, i feel the cleanser is quite gentle biggrin.gif
it doesnt have strong scent, even i can say it is scentless

after using it for few weeks, i feel that my skin is much more smoother and less white heads
i bought the smaller tube from Guardian last time, i think i will buy this product in full size after i finish the current one! smile.gif

* i'm oily skin , Tamagohada series suitable for oily skin wink.gif

anyone tried the moistirising milk yet? i found some reviews on the net saying that it was a bit too rich, leaving the skin looks shinny n oily

you use it everyday? or twice a week? I'm afraid will make my skin too dry although I have white heads that need to be reduced.

yuppie...it does reduce whiteheads...pore looks smaller
but really quite dry for the skin...even after the gokujyun lotion and a gel base moisturiser, i still feel the tense on my face

i bought their hyaluronic acid essence as well as their facial cleanser.

not sure about the cleanser yet but i love the hyaluronic acid essence. my face is so hydrated. good for me since i stay in air-condition room all the time. hyaluronic acid helps to retain moisture as well. as we age, the hyaluronic acid in us will decrease; hence the older we get, the drier our face is. hyaluronic acid helps to plump up fine lines or wrinkles too.

nope! hadalabo is cheaper than juju aqua moist. i have tried their collagen toner and it breaks me out. so, stopped using it after a few times using it.

used this- hada labo AHA/BHA face wash

i thnk it is too strong for me (or maybe for others also note that the product should be used with a sunscreen product)

sometimes im lazy will only use that with no face cream. i will feel weird cause its like the cleanser took out all the oil n leave my skin so dry but oily inside. after few week wearing it i realised i have "second" skin on my forehead and nose area. Looks like my skin was slowly peeling.

I dont like it at all cause it feels like it took all the moist from my skin then leave dead skin on my face.

The lotion, was ok i think. but it didnt absorb fast. it will stay there until u rub or massage it again n again.

not wearing it anymore

Hi I have a question. Hope you guys can help out. They said you should apply toner with a cotton ball by striking it on your face (to remove dead skin cells and residue). But this Hada Labo lotion (also a toner ) says we should pat it on...

So which is the correct method?

Thanks in advance.

toner with exfoliate effect needs to use cotton, so that the dead skin can be wipe off

hada labo is moiturising effect...so patting is more appropriate

toner that i am using is usually for hydration purpose; hence i am using the patting method. but i didn't pat just once.. i patted twice to thrice depending on my skin's needs. in japan, most toners are patting method instead of soaking it on cotton ball/ pad.

if you can't make up your mind, i would recommend you to use toner for hydration purpose instead. with the weather, air condition and etc.. hydration is important to our skin no matter what type of skin we are having.

not sure whether it suits u...u buy the small one to try first
but not recommended to wash twice a day...too dry
normally i only use once at night to wash away the oil n dirts
if too harsh for ur skin, then maybe do it twice per week

Just wondering if anyone here tried their moisturising milk? Is it very rich/sticky?

Btw, I just saw a promo pack at Guardian, priced around RM90, which includes a HA lotion(full size), cleansing foam and moisturising milk(full size). Quite a bargain IMHO. biggrin.gif

I am using the toner and moisturizer for only a week and I can see the result. very moisturizing. My face looks good the day after I sleep late.
Just need to use a small amount for each application. good for dry and sensitive skin.

well, it actually has no guarantee, really. every products out there, it might suit some ppl but it might not suit others. perhaps 2 ppl with oily skin, hada labo's AHA + BHA cleanser works well for one but it doesn't work for the others.

hence, you really need to buy and try that product yourself in order to know if it suits you. it's good to read reviews from others but at the end of the day, it's still depend on how does an individual's skin reacted to it. everyone of us are different

Hi all,
Juz wanna share my experience.... I've combination skin (but more of the oily side tongue.gif ) & tend to hv problem with finding the suitable products.
The HL toner is indeed very moisturizing esp for those who 1st use it.. u might think it's too sticky etc... truth is if u gently pat til its fully absorbed & after a few more applications, it won't be that sticky anymore. Of course if you put on too much then I can't say the same la. Try putting on accord 2 ur skin nds... brows.gif

The moisturizer in a small tub is in 1 word - rich... if you have same skin type as me, even applying a bit of it... you'd feel like ur face is going to melt off tongue.gif haaa...a bit exaggerate i noe, cz i staying in campus so no air-cond sad.gif otherwise, it shud be okay. But then, for those you really wan a sample can go to the HL website & enter ur details for a sample thumbup.gif

oso, always sunscreen... can;t emphasize it more... Yes, i was among those who really reluctant use it as by midday, i feel my face is like a cake melting... (solli ah~again exaggerating) oso, i worry I break out...
Just buy a formula which is non comedogenic, oil free, good covergae of UVA&B PA+++... no need till 100, 200, 1000 SPF (if got lah tongue.gif ) SPF 50 is really gud enuf for office or indoor use~ I use neutrogena by the way... it's dry touch formula is really amazing... I heard Biore is also not bad, but haven't try it yet... haha... wait neutrogena finish!

After 1 month... sunscreen... i really feel diff! it's brighter & less sallow apperance.. in long run it prevent premature wrinkle (you can only prevent wrinkle/slow it from appearing but not rid off it once it occur...)

cheers smile.gif

Is it suitable for me to use both lotion and the moisturize cream together? I having pimples on my face and those annoying pimple scars too. Will this product help in my problem?

I've combination skin.
For me, Hada Labo products are seriously good.
I'm a big fans of H/A range.
Now second bottle of H/A Lotion.
I seriously recommend this range, as previously I've been using some departmental store brand (SKII, CD, Lancome, Estee), I found H/A cleanser are good enough as SKII and Estee.
CD and Lancome=no difference for my skin sad.gif
No offense for all branded users, I'm just sharing my experience.
Coz everyone skin need are different.

hi, i've had that question too.. bt i read alot of ppl say to pat Hada Labo's toner onto face.. i'm used to wiping my face wit toner-soaked cotton pad.. changing to patting on the toner is quite a new thing to me.. i tried patting bt it just makes my face feel uncomfortable.. like i can still feel dirt on my face blink.gif

mayb it's just the way i feel la.. bt i do this:

i use another toner which needs to be wiped on face using a cotton pad, b4 i use Hada Labo's toner.. so, everytime after washing my face, i will 1st wipe Ginvera Green Tea toner onto my face wit cotton pad, thn only i pat Hada Labo's toner on =)

that makes me feel having a fresh n 'cleaner' face..haha biggrin.gif tongue.gif

I have dry and sensitive skin, and have had no problems using the lotion. It works great in combination with my moisturizer, and I haven't had any irritation. I just think of it as a product that makes my moisturizer more effective, and I can notice the difference when I use only moisturizer and no lotion.

hi,just to share my experience of using Hada Labo product since Nov,2009 . I love this product. I have dry & sensitive skin which cant tolerate skin care with alcohol and fragrance.

Initially , I use HL SHA Moisturizing Face Wash in the morning and AHA/BHA Cleanser at night on a daily basis but after some times I find that the AHA/BHA face wash is too much for my skin type as it cause my skin feel tight (due to dryness ) . I then change to use the AHA/BHA cleanser only twice a week until now and the result is great. After washing the face , I follow up with the SHA lotion (act as toner ) then SHA Moisturizing Cream . I finished up by using Mentholatum SUNPLAY Skin Aqua UV Moisture Milk SPF50 PA+++ . As the SHA Moisturizing Cream is richer that the SHA Moisturizing Milk ,I would use a small amt only in the morning and larger amount during night time. This cream is great especially if you sleep in air-conditioned room.

I would rate Hada Labo product as 5/5 for me .

,

I would say the HL SHA (Super Hyaluronic Acid ) range is suitable for you. As for the moisturizer , SHA Moisturizing Milk is lighter compare to SHA Moisturizing Cream which is richer which is more suitable for your extremely dry skin.

You can check out their website for detail of each range.

Hi all, can anyone please explain the difference between moisturizing lotion and milk? Do both work the same? Which one is more suitable to be used day/night?
*
Moisturizing Lotion = Toner (use after cleansing)
Moisturizing Milk = Moisturizer (lighter compare to the Moisturizing cream)

Check out the HL website ,click the Product section to get further detail of each product category.

The SHA Moisturizing Lotion is actually the "toner" , you need to apply either moisturizing Milk or Moisturizing Cream (depends on your skin type ) after the SHA Moisturizing Lotion .

hada labo's brand is from japan but the one that is available in malaysia is imported from china instead.

anyhow guys, even though it's made in china, all the ingredients and SOP should be the same. just the labor cost ic cheaper in china.

anyway, the recent new product of hada labo, their water based make up remover gel, that's made in japan.

i am currently using that one as my make up remover.

Well, I have dry skin and ever since I saw Hada Labo's hyaluronic acid toner being introduced on Ladies First, I have been using it, so it's been around 1 year and I am satisfied with it.

I also bought the milk which is very rich so I use it once or twice a week before going to sleep~ got improvements lor~

i have combination skin (slightly oily on the T zone). The first time i used this SHA hydrating face wash, i felt my skin tighten after the wash and my skin got peeled off after 2days but continue using it for a month. Also i felt the hydrating lotion very sticky after applied on my face. i stopped using them after a month, afraid they're too acidic to my skin

i think i am going to buy it soon because the eye cream i am using is running out plus i am on budget this month until middle of next month. lol.. so, i think i will buy this as a cheaper replacement. i actually plan to try out KIEHL's midnight recovery eye cream... or origin's plantscription? the one for anti-aging. haha! but i guess, hada labo is cheaper that fits my budget month. haha!

if i have tried it, i will let you know... but i am quite fussy on eye cream.. so, it could be good on other ppl but not good on me. lol

you lazy bum~! haha! no no.. eye cream is something that we shouldn't skip at all. eye is a very delicate area and it doesn't produce sebum like the rest of our face, so, when it shows sign of aging, that will be the first place to show along with our neck. hehe!

i tried their toner and cleanser, I don't really like it as it caused my skin to have breakouts. Maybe my skin is too sensitive.
