i have noob question. how to priming resun cy-20. i some of you discuss about it in previous thread..
what i do before this is open the cover, fill it with water, put back the cover. and switch on the pump..
what the purpose open/close selector on top of the cover?

is basically sugar and yeast mixed tugether that produces co2.. yes it works ofcourse!
the neat thing abt it is the canister itself.. the mix after uve used up the prepacked one.. u can just make ur own mix with sugar + yeast.. diy urself

my 1 also 1FT tank.. i use DIY co2 also.. ( sugar + yeast )

this 1 im not sure.. even thought im RESUN CY-20 User.. LOL

that 1 is mini canister filter..

good, tat size good for iwagumi....
if arrangement correct, u will have a view of long tank, very nice...

1ft square to keep rcs, no problem at all...
to keep crs, maybe the water volume a bit low and parameter will change easily...

haha... i know that as well, but the thing is the money to set it up... too much already.
i do think of setting it up, but then need lots of soil... hmm...

but then i hardly found 1ft square tank. mostly is smaller than that.
like 1ft x 0.5ft x 0.5ft, so i dunno how will it become if use those size tank.
i know the parameter will change easily, but then what you mean about the water volume a bit low?

low water volume lo... 30 x 30 x 30 ~27L

just the standard filter oni lah with the cotton n bio rings for filter media

my aquarium have algae at it glass...
how to avoid it???

light period too long ? over dose fertiliser ?

as u can see the open/close is beside hose connector..

i just found that 'close/open' thing can be remove from the cover.. maybe it function is to allow water filling without open the filter cover.. make job easy after this...

What for let water filling out without open the cover ?

wat he trying to say is i think to start the canister filter, u need to fill up the canister first before turning it on.
and he was asking what is the OPENCLOSE part is for.. then he discovered that he can just open that part only when he wants to fill up the canister with water.. so he does not have to open the whole canister punya cover to fill up the water..

correct ah? hahahaha

haha no la.. ur tank how many feet? that canister filter quite small

ohhh.. haha.. the hairgrass just 3 weeks old.. i hope so can faster whole scape my 1ft tank..

running 2ft now.. not using this filter.. i just diy..
plan to setup new 1ft@1.5ft for this filter..
