Our 2010 revise price structure for KIA Forte, City(wtf? same size meh?), Civic and others similiar size are: RM650 [current 550+100] apply for Monday thru Friday and RM750 [current 550+200] for Saturday. and julz~ i got mr. chong sms too...
i believe he can't give same price even we book now..
he said "revised price for 2010" is RM650.. means from 2010 onwards all car price for civic, forte, city price would be RM650 (weekdays)
and RM750 for weekend... if we proceeding booking right now (on dec) he will give discount of 10% of new price, which mean RM650 - 10% = RM585 (weekdays) and RM750 - 10% = RM675 (weekend).

u guys go ahead... after u guys GLOW ur forte... then i can compare with those who done PPS (my friend limited edition Audi A4  )

Tested drive 1.6 SX again, got chance to go up to 120km/h. RPM about 3000+, but not yet 3500.
During 110km/h, RPM about 3000, very near but below 3k. Handling is good, managed to make a turn at about 80km/h but on old car kelisa, 40km/h already feel like want to buang. hahahahaa

why keep on asking ppl to change from 2.0 to 1.6? haha~

I am using a 1.3 now, and 1.6 too small for me. (hungry for too long) So must go for 2.0

308 THP is good... in term of quality, specs and performance, I tested my friend's 308THP before.... love the car so much~~ Nearly bought that car.
Lucky the Forte come just in time, i call off the plan for 308 and jump boat to Forte.
Some more buy Forte can save some money, I really hate to installment car.
I had almost 1 years plus no installment for car... Now is time to be the slave of bank again....

The VTi got few things are difference from the THP...
Dual zone aircond, control panel display, Traction control, rear mirror sensor.
Over all, everything is good...
With 96k to buy a continental car is value for money.
Handling is tip top, but the spare parts will be expensive lo...
Every continental car owners will know about this, but they still stick with the conti car.
Once you are continental driver, forever you will be continenal car owner....

not yet ask for refund.. next week will do... so many procedure..
really hates it.. he told me not going to bank in my cheque when placing order...
now need to go through so many process... i should open a pd check at the beginning...
like our SA.. before he want to bank in he call me... i said no.. give me back i bring him cash..

I bought a 308T a month back and have been very happy with it so far, especially for the price you pay for it. I do think that both the 308 and Forte are excellent cars for the money and it is quite hard to choose between the two. As objective as I can be, the 308 definitely has the better quality interior. Kia has made big strides in interior quality but the plastics still fall short of the Peugeot. The Kia offers a more closed in feel, the 308 a more airy feel especially with the glass roof. Exterior wise, the Forte's design is better resolved and will likely age better than the 308's more flamboyant creases. Driving and handling wise I cannot compare as I have not driven the Forte yet, nor the 308VTI, but the 308T gives satisfying performance. It's hard to beat a modern direct fuel injected turbocharged engine and furthermore you can mod it for better performance with the simple addition of a chip.

So what it boils down to is personal preference as both are good in their own ways. If your budget is less than RM100k, I'd go for the Forte 2.0 or 1.6SX. But if you can stretch it to RM110k, the 308T is a great buy. In fact I am probably going to place an order for the Forte 2.0 to replace our second car.
