Wii is never HD to begin with. You don't see heavy games like RE5, AC2, Dirt 2 available on Wii, coz the graphic in Wii is as good as PS2/Xbox 1 only

Btw, i got QUES for all. I went and check out the current price for both consoles and their warranty + games.

For Price:
PS3 - RM1299 (Price from Ori SONY CENTRE)
X360 - RM1200 (Arcade, Modded)

Warranty:
Both gives only 1 YEAR, i wonder what happened to the 3 YEARs RUMOURS... Anybody?

Games:
X360 - Can get AHEM2 games
PS3 - All ORI only

Types of Games:
I found my most fav games are from X360, Some on PS3... Not interested in Wii curently...

So, I did some calculation... And Still doing...

So, i need expert advice on how to know the consoles i buy will be NEW/GOOD/ORI(Modded/Not) and is there any details on specs that i need to know?
PS3 no worries, can get the ORI from SOny Centre. So my concern on X360? Btw, there sell Arcade, Jasper version. Whats the ELITE thingy? Need to know more details.

dont mod your xbox if u intend to play online with it
if u intend to play online on xbox live, dont even think of playing pirated game
once u mod ur xbox, official warranty becomes invalid

official Malaysian PS3 warranty is 12+3 months
warranty for Xbox however need to go to Singapore

Elite is xbox 360 but it is black in colour.got 120gb hdd.black controller

i think ps3 more cheaper la.buy sngapore 120gb .rm 1180.malaysia expensive a bit,but ps3 less rosak what..so buy sgapore

xbox 360 arcade 512mb=rm 1200(modded).unmodded should be cheaper.maybe 1100.ps3 cheap bcause they give 120gb hdd and maybe the new design make it cheap.but ps3 now reasonable price except for the game

Xbox is 3 years warranty for ori. Claim in Singapore.

Why going xbox route must be pirate one? I don't get it why some of you think that way.

because in malaysia pirated market is alot more then original market.
Apa pirated pun boleh in malaysia, so u could know y it always lead to xbox because only xbox and wii can play pirated games and not ps3.

unfortunately not much does care over these despite the result they gonna get.

I had a few friends who explain that ps3 too expensive and xbox play offline enough no need online. They just want to spend 1k plus to buy 1/2 the feeling of it rather then experiencing fully what xbox had lol.
Well of course i dont really object to such opinion since offline version is best to spend 1k plus on rather then using their pc to play which is hilarious.

True, im also more on offline based. I only play certain games online using my PC, most of it im on offline.

its been awhile since i stop playing console, so now im consdering on buying one.
anyway, im in the same situation as ts. but i would avoid xbox360 for now. anyone know will the slim ps3 get YLOD too like its big brother? my gaming hours would be around 3 ~ 5 hours. im tempted to get the ps3 slim, but would greatly appreciate if someone can share their experience on ps3 slim (if any downside of it)

its no where near to 3ROD in terms of failure rate

YLOD only started to appear in late 2007, a year after PS3 launch, so it isn't too bad coz Xbox 360 kena RROD within a year.

Added on December 18, 2009, 2:48 amso far not heard of any bad cases with PS3 Slim, except some rare defects which claimable by warranty, as for YLOD, it need at least a year only can check out whether this design revision can escape from YLOD.. at the moment, just have faith in the 45nm Cell, 65nm RSX..

I say you go for xbox 360,the gaming experience is way better than ps3.im not fanboy or what.
Now the chance of kena RROD have gone.+want to buy elite now easier and cheaper.
But about going online,You can wait 1-3 month to go LIVE after buying teh console..if you dont have the budget$$.
easy.but its up to you.

1)360 graphic r better..from my opinion.
2)360=no RROD anymore,ps3= YLOD err? but 360 is like oven...
3) ^ 4) xbox 360=pc=the same game.
5)many reasonable price at LYN garage sales..why dont have a look?

After doing all my research and etc... i think im sticking with PC for now, it offers better gaming capa, + no failures like consoles, + gaming for FPS and etc is easier. So PC for now!!

Dude, PC also have some failures, i dont deny it... but in terms of durability, PC obviously wins compared to consoles...
