Good to hear ur thoughts, I love playing games like Crysis, COD, GTA, NFS, and more on those racing + action. But im afraid of getting consoles. So far on my search throughout the net, i heard many complaints on the YROD for PS3 and RROD in X360. Im afraid of buyin it and ending up waste as it fails. Im extreme gamer n i do play like more than 6 hours straight. So, should i get the console? My home has no AC, n kinda Hot here. Even my lappy gets overheated sometimes.

Bacause im PC maniac, i PLAY lots of PC Games... Uncountable collection. So finaly thought of trying out consoles.

Thats why, im kinda afraid to buy one. Both have probs, which one actualy overheats quickly? Coz im more like marathon person. Hot = Bad for me.

The PS3 got 2 version rite, the FAT one and the SLIM one. I heard now all is SLIM, so, is the SLIM better or FAT better? SLIM seems like can OVERHEAT. Any comments on that?

I do agree with some of ur points. But what i meant by $$$ is that, a PC which u buy now say approx RM4K worth of hdware, in 2 years time is like "CHEAP LIKE HELL" and u know that price falls like crazy, for the past 10years of my exp, its just changes so fast, of course its a good thing, tech stuff needs BOOM! all the time. consoles are the other side, u get 1 and it guarantees ur gaming like 'Years' as long as the dev produces the games, ie: PS2, its been so long n yet they still have games runin n lots of it, (of course new ones no more) but we can see the major diff in the dev peak.

PC the other end, keeps getin faster n better + game dev is pushing the GPU to the limit for better games. I stil remember when GTA IV pops out, many mid end PC's suffers low graphics performance capability, so as a gamer for years, i have also own more than 3 PC's and each one is not like CAN UPGRADE foreeeeveeeer... so it needs change. So if u don f $$$ prob, then its ok.

Lets cap back 3 years, when u can have P4 3.X GHz HT, with 2GB RAM n some ATi X series GPU. Does it allows u to play games like crysis n so on? Its a NO. So PC gaming grows damn fast than consoles, so console is pretty much stable for gamers. (In My Opinion even though i didnt own any consoles before as i was PC freak, which now im kinda seeing the other side)

btw, thanks for sharing some thoughts. I was sharing mine too. but i do love PC games more. so im on a try for console.

I googled search, n did found some people had YLOD in PS3 slim. SOme like shocking in a month after purchased

Good info there, I am more like on all games, coz i love FPS, those racing type NFS as i played all their series n Shift also completed, then i oso play those RA3, DMC4 and my all time fav GTA! So, seeing both PS3 n X360 games, its good for it is rite now.

I did some search on the graphics comparison for GTA IV (As im crazy for it), i found the graphics quality is damn good for PC, followed by X360 and then PS3. So, im kinda disappointed by the consoles graphics after seeing this: CLICK HERE

Btw, i got QUES for all. I went and check out the current price for both consoles and their warranty + games.

For Price:
PS3 - RM1299 (Price from Ori SONY CENTRE)
X360 - RM1200 (Arcade, Modded)

Warranty:
Both gives only 1 YEAR, i wonder what happened to the 3 YEARs RUMOURS... Anybody?

Games:
X360 - Can get AHEM2 games
PS3 - All ORI only

Types of Games:
I found my most fav games are from X360, Some on PS3... Not interested in Wii curently...

So, I did some calculation... And Still doing...

So, i need expert advice on how to know the consoles i buy will be NEW/GOOD/ORI(Modded/Not) and is there any details on specs that i need to know?
PS3 no worries, can get the ORI from SOny Centre. So my concern on X360? Btw, there sell Arcade, Jasper version. Whats the ELITE thingy? Need to know more details.

True, im also more on offline based. I only play certain games online using my PC, most of it im on offline.

After doing all my research and etc... i think im sticking with PC for now, it offers better gaming capa, + no failures like consoles, + gaming for FPS and etc is easier. So PC for now!!

Dude, PC also have some failures, i dont deny it... but in terms of durability, PC obviously wins compared to consoles...
