QUOTE(Azazel @ Dec 9 2009, 09:31 AM) Hi Chia, good to know. And I rest my case. The reptiles you may have caught in the past were: 1. Calotes versicolor 2. Varanus salvator salvator Be merry. Regards ![]() Calotes versicolor = malay name is cicak gobeng (picture source wikipedia) Very common lizard, can be found almost anywhere in Malaysia around you hourse backyard, trees, bushes and sometimes can be spotted crossing the road. I have caught it several times before. Varanus salvator salvator = monitor lizard / biawak I spotted them several times in the lake side of Subang Jaya park. It's length is slightly more than 1 meter, it can swim very well. It's too big for me to catch it!!! Also it is a very common species in Malaysia and can be spotted near a source of water such as lakes or rivers, they are highly intelligent creatures, and carnivorous. Local fishermen claims that this biawak normally got stuck on their fishing lines, or steals fish from fishing nets or fish traps because their front limbs and fingers are highly nimble. |

Hey guys, my gecko has not ate for around 1 week . . . any ideas ? No sign of shedding, no sign of illness .. still active .. but just dont want to eat .. i can see the tail has shrunk a little bit ...
& 1 more thing ! Hasnt poop since last sunday ! OMG Is it due to impaction/ constipation etc ? I read from geckoforums & theres information about feeding gecko with olive oil & warm water bath .. how to do it ? This post has been edited by xMika: Dec 13 2009, 08:25 AM |

That's ok Matt. Looking at the limbs and such, I don't think the specimen would live long anyway. It looked weak from day one i.e. from egg. Infact I did not expect it to hatch...but it did.
By the way, are you here 247? Ko takde keja lain ke? Added on December 14, 2009, 9:52 amI didn't mean to be offensive with the last quote. Cuma ngantuk. Therefore my wordings didn't come out right. This post has been edited by Azazel: Dec 14 2009, 09:52 AM |

QUOTE(mattemily_85 @ Dec 14 2009, 10:04 AM) aku nyer computer 24/7 on aje kat LYN lagi-lagi pun bukan computer aku pun kekeke.... LOL! Sama la mcm aku. Computer office tapi buat cam computer sendiri hahahurmm...just wondering kenapa perut dia boleh bloat? Entah, bloating tak tau kenape. Maybe banyak sangat makan angin kot kat dalam container tu LMAO! Anyway, at first aku ingatkan aku biar terlampau lama kat dalam container tu without ventilation. But aku check everyday sial. So if leo babies boleh tahan sampai few days in the same thing, takkan la mamat levis ni mampus la kan. Pastu aku check balik and tengok the animal didn't come out right. Firstly, the incubation period was way too early (for Nephrurus sp.). Secondly, the body looks distorted like any other leo yang hatch tak betul. Thirdly, body biru siot suggesting that it may have suffocated. Fourthly, I checked my record and found out that these were the eggs that got stuck at the exo terra cave. I had to pull them out, thus cracking one totally. I also think that the remaining one that hatch had extra thin layer of shell sebab aku kasi tanggal from the cave. I wanted to perform necropsy but again, what's the point la right? So I took some pix and threw the body away. Let's wait for the "real" deal that's going to hatch soon. |

Base on your explanation there are to many assumption can be made to be the cause of the death.. Still i wonder if its got to do with the suffocation or not since all of your Leo's also duduk dalam container tu without ventilation.. The stomach really looks like its gonna blow!
I hope this is not one of your " I'm so geram this bugger didn't come out yet, so i push it out from the egg my self " thing like before LOL.. Anyway, this is just one of the obstacle in your concues, and i know greater things to come from TGS.. RIP for that little bugger.. |

Yup, all I could do now is assume. How la to really 100% determine this? Dah mampus dah pun LOL! Well according to another breeder (Marcia from Golden Gate), she stated the COD may be due to the hemorrage of the cords in the stomach. Unfortunately, non of us really know for sure. Frankly, I used to hatch 2 Raptors and 1 Aptor with such condition before (hemorraging looking tummy). But they didn't die. Infact they live and thrive. This one I don't know.I hope this is not one of your " I'm so geram this bugger didn't come out yet, so i push it out from the egg my self " thing like before LOL.. Anyway, this is just one of the obstacle in your concues, and i know greater things to come from TGS.. RIP for that little bugger.. No more pushing la. Last time I was experimenting only. Terus keluar mencungap cungap and drop dead LMAO! Yup, more things to come from TGS. That's for sure And I just witnessed something weird with aft mating ritual i.e. ovulating females like to tease and snuggle with males. Weird sial! And just like a friend of mine who have bred afts in Malaysia, I have NEVER seen them fuc.king in front of my eyes. Sedar-sedar ada telur. They must be shy-fuc.kers...celup celup sikit pastu lari jejauh LMAO! Added on December 14, 2009, 11:14 amBy the way, I don't know this word "concues"? WTF is that la? Konkek in French ke? LMAO!
