Anyway I said garden fence lizards (Calotes versicolor) because they are the most common agamids you would find and water monitors (Varanus salvator salvator) are the most common varanids among the 4 available Varanus sp. in Malaysia. The environment described by Chiah didn't seem to jive with the rest as they usually require more specialized habitats to thrive. And some maybe based on localities. Thus my comments on the matter.

And Calotes sp. makes a fine meal for most varanids. I sh1t you not. You can try afterwards

Hi guys is it okay to leave a bowl of mealworms , and a dish of Calcium powder in the aquarium for my pair of gecko ? just mealworm + calcium powder . but no cricket . will they have sufficient meal ?

U breed Komodo then they all gigit u since u r so yummy Nom nom .....

That would be the normal setup for all Leo's, plus a water dish and also its shelter.. Since ur having a pair in the tank, make sure there is sufficient mealworms for both of Leo's. I could say crickets is not a staple food for them and u might give them once or twice a week.. It could be a good exercise for them catching the crickets.. Then again, mealworms and supers are just fine for them to have sufficient meal..

I think that is a specimen from Ghoulish Geckos right Matt? If u notice, they always name all their Leopard Gecko..
