thx bro ... AFAIK the bacon are specially produced locally only to be distributed for hotels and certain restaurants. Its not the normal bacon which you can find it at you local hypermarkets or markets.

According to my supplier, eurodeli have something which is similiar to this but the price is way higher.

wanna get a few packs for yourself and give some feedback here? biggrin.gif i can assure you that you will ask for more once u tried this bacon

where's ur location ... i dun think its practical to courier it although its frozen vacuum packed..

and the bacon is raw so i guess its the unprocessed bacon? biggrin.gif

the bacon if u keep it in the freezer all the time it can be kept very long (i would recommend not more than 2 months)

i bought 2 kg frm vam about 10 days ago.
one kg for my staff and one kg for me.
only had time to cook yesterday.

very, very very nice bacon.
not too smoky and all in all a superb product.
really juicy and sweet.
i might buy some more.

suppose to have the asparagus and shrimps rolled-up with bacon, but don't have asparagus in the fridge.

Will definetely buy again once I finish, but I bought 2KG woh... Everyday eat Bacon meh...If cheap I don't mind eat BACON EVERYDAY. rclxm9.gif

I bought 2kg of bacon from Vam. It's great deal smile.gif The bacon's not too fatty and not too salty...very yummy...just pan fry in a non-stick pan...can add a lil oil and u'll get crispy meaty bacon...now i can make my own bacon crisp sandwich to rival O'Briens tripledecker sandwich...kekekeke....

It's a premium quality bacon ur selling. I did a comparison for the said premium ones and vam's bacon. Conclusion is the normal ones tend to be smaller in size, more fats and salty. For vam's its lean meat, larger piece & sligltly salty. It just suit our taste very much.

2. Store bought bacon would have shrunk half its un-fried size due to higher fatty distribution but Vam's bacon didn't shrink too much and managed to retain a good size. I just fry in non stick pan and they came out nicely brown and most importantly...CRISPY!

Just bought from the seller. Really really good stuff. Better than store bought bacon with an even better price. I know i will get a heart attack from eating all the bacon. Highly recommended!!

I have just fried the bacon and ate it with my bf.

We both loves it. The bacon is tender and not too fatty.

Bought 1kg each, after Vam called me on the same day. Had tried the Bacon and it's still "one of the BEST". As for the Gammon Ham, it's nice and juicy but for me, I think it's too thinly slice. Would be better if it's slighty thicker.

hmm still too thin eh ... lucky i didnt sell the 1st batch online (coz its even thinner) tongue.gif

but actually the thickness can be adjusted as 1 pack (500g) consist of 7 slices ... maybe could be adjusted to 5/6 slices then it will be thicker

I agree with you that the bacon don't shrink as much. I normally heat up some oil before frying Vam's bacon (actually don't need oil if frying on non-stick pan but I do add oil) to get it super crisp like O'Brien's Chicken Crisp and adds them to my sandwiches....really yummy!

nod.gif yup yup...i cooked it together wif sunny side up egg...using d remaining oil from the bacon to fry the egg...darn unhealthy stuff...but who cares??!! it taste good!! hahaha..m gonna try frying it, with minimal oil, then use those excess oil wif d bacon fat to "lou fan" wif kicap hitam...heaven...hahahaha...tongue.gif drool.gif thumbup.gif

The meat part im referring to is only in d middle? (For your bacon) Are u really selling bacon? A friend of mine from germany, has been eating bacon since he was 8 yrs old said that its not bacon, but ham. Bacons sold at supermarkets, usually will get crispy / hard if u fry it for like 20 mins or so.. urs the bacon taste like ham texture, no wonder I cant fried it until it get crispy?! The more I eat it the more I feel the meat texture similar to ham.. even if u look at it u can actually see some pore's. (looks like ham) Can u clarify? Yo! I have been eating VAM's bacon & ya even though I am no expert in the technical aspects of bacon/ham etc. but it tastes like bacon, smells like bacon, cooks like bacon, and IT IS bacon...! But in a healthy way! And bacon does come in different texture. I was just at Carrefour and they have streaky ones, and very much less fat ones. I hope I ain't getting into any debate here, but VAM's "bacon" to me IS bacon! And pretty damn good bacon if I may say so! Cheers and happy eating! It's really good!

Bacon need to cook and is RM38/kg, smoked gammon ham have to defrost it then can eat edi! Ham will be RM40/kg...

Hi there, bacon comes with 1kg packaging, only Ham is 500g packaging...

U can share with ur frens or family for the bacon then u can separate into half, we cant separate for u....

Have tried the bacon and gammon ham. Very delicious~~ Bacon is more towards the lean side though, which will make me not feel guilty by taking more often, haha.
