im guessing ur volume may be turned up too high.
when u plug in ur mic connector, hit mute and see if its gone.

i open at 20%...does tat count high?? yup,when i hit the mute and it gone...

ur other volume settings?
but for now go plug another headset see if the prob still there

i knows whats the prob
the usb connector doesnt have enuff power
i got now with my 6 year old lappy
when plug into CC comp no sound at all

yes dude, exactly the same. i prefer aliewnare headset cuz it looks nicer and suits my alienware laptop.
and the price is lower as well. like the previous pc fair, it was on sale for rm173 only. the steelseries 5hv2 cost more than rm300.
so can u see the price difference and design difference?
and don believe me, u can also check their technical specs
both exactly the same.
so this means that both produce same sound quality and deliver same comfort and same design. (different logo only)
so, if ur under low budget or a fan of alienware, can go purchase the alienware headset.
if u wan the headset bundle with sound card, go for steel series 5hv2 @ rm 400. ^^

The mini is for my friend.. haha.. I personally using Qck Mass and Roccat Sense.
Testing 3H now.. sounds really good for budget gaming headset, but no remote volume control.
yeah.. hahaa. Moderno pro. Very fast settle my purchase.

how's the sound quality of 3h headset?

very very very good for a RM120 headset. Bang for the buck!
Bass is stable and deep. Vocals and mid are rich, warm, and clear.
The overall sound can be slightly trebly, but easily fixed with some tweaking of the equalizer.

My only complaint is the lack of volume control. Other than that, pretty perfect.
I giv it a 8/10.
