One disadvantage with the hybrid GPU is, there are limited driver provided and also nVidia doesn't fully support the hybrid technology...so solely have to depend with those that the manufacturer released or modded ones smile.gif

Added on November 22, 2009, 4:30 pmIf got the budget better get SXPS 16 thumbup.gif...well, SXPS 16 is way powerful than S42 nod.gif

Well, S57 is the cheapest BD laptop out there...well, with that budget better go for SXPS 16...

Well, unless you usually travel a lot and always in the need to use a battery-life long laptop than maybe you can consider S42 as with Intel GM45 can squeezed out battery for 4 hours nod.gif...its smaller than SXPS 16 nod.gif...

Overall performance,
SXPS16>S57>S42

Well, video editing and heavy multi-tasking is suited for i7...while for gaming a C2D is good enough as mostly not all games need a quad-core proc laugh.gif..

For this i think SXPS 16 is the best choice for you..
