This one really depend with what IP they assigned you with...try reset the modem a couple of times and see which IP suit your place best ...like mine here, 118,115 & 60 are totally out....124 is

Same goes with my L4d2...the speed just way ....but DirectDownload seems to be quite fast

Just off your modem for a while...10 seconds enough lor...then see what IP they assigned you...try and download, if the speed is good then stick with it ....

sk**row should be fine as i already finished playing it ...dun really know about razor, but usually razor is quite good ...maybe can try download razor and use skid cr**k...

Not portforward la...well, for normal streamyx user, we get dynamic IPs meaning that everytime we reset our modem, we will get new IP ...if you using the lease-line or the business package then you can apply for FIXED IP ..

Should be no problem as i already finished playing MW2 on S42 with 64-bit OS ..

Nope, the port that you opened in your modem won't be affected ...still uses the same port ...this btw, is modem configuration, got nothing to do with IPs

DNS, well that one is using modem configuration, if you set it at auto-DNS, it will be using Streamyx DNS...if you configured it using configured DNS then it will use your configured DNS

Well, that one really does take some time but, you can get good speed for result

john uses what AV?? ...used Nod32 before and its quite good...but now running MSE and been quite fine so far ..

Wow, that interesting...mine here need AV lor coz my sis always uses my laptop for study purposes ...

AV = Antivirus
MSE = Microsoft Security Essentials (somewhat AV from MS, its free )

Most probably the problem with the SATA setting because XP need to change to IDE while Vista uses AHCI..maybe you can try repair your Vista

you need to install the AHCI first for XP then can be done ..

Dackson is way rich ...still remember he wanted to buy N81Vp but got stuck with the CC payment ....

I think no need to put those 16GB RAM as 4~6GB is already good enough for now
