to restore either you run the acronis program and choose restore and browse the backup file
or boot using the cd/pendrive and choose restore

when you run true image, no option to backup?
choose backup my disk, then file by file, don't choose bit by bit unless you want to backup every single bit on C:\ partition which resulting as big as your C drive laugh.gif

well, you got 80GB data on that C:\ sweat.gif
I only done it on XP+programs and can get it just under 4GB to fit in dvd

just leave it default
unless you want to split it into 4GB/8GB but seems impractical with 20++ parts....

i split the archive files into DVD ....
i compress it into maximum

might be he used external ?? but if is 89GB backup of image it's not possible for it to restore within 15mins !!
i restore hp one need hours !! include those software it's more than 89GB ><

can't move out your file from the C??
just leave essential one, application+ windows..

well, the acronis for me restoring is around 20 minutes.

I compress it until 45GB ++
I purposely go to buy 8Gb pendrive just for it ><

as i said, i never bother with backup...

all my stuff are in D:\, and i make a copy of them in external HDD...

whenever i want to format, i can do it any time without hesitation... install Windows 20mins, re-install essential programs, 30mins...

the windows part is fast.just the programs part is very slow
