Hey Orestes, the problem is not about money. It is the fact that after that Korean version of Big Convoy appeared, Black Big Convoy virtually disappeared from the market. Snapped up by collectors. The only way we can get the Black Big Convoy is either a desperate collector selling it (not me) or they found surplus stocks in Japan/Hong Kong.

yeahh... the only way to get out of production stuffs is from collectors who quits ... or the desperate for money ... tf hobby is a very good investment...

A tip for you. If you want to have a good source to find good stuff, you need to pay market price for them. Cannot afford to be stingy. Seriously, bro Putu offering me RM850 is considered a good price coz it is very close to market price but you and I know for a fact that if I sell it, I will not be able to find another again for some time, maybe another 6 months? Mine is MISB FYI. You know how hard to find such an item.

So, unless I am damn desperate to sell, I will pass Putu's offer for the moment.

Paying market price will ensure good stuff will come to you but as you mentioned, TF hobby is very pricey. Try playing G1 for an example.

The Devastator G1 I bought is considered quite pricey already but the quality is like C9 to C9.5 (don't count the stickers). So, if you are willing to pay, good things will automatically come to you. No need to search high and low.

It is not the capacity and price being within your means. If the item is rare, pay market price and you will get it. Of course, for new releases, we can wait for a better price. The phrase of getting it "value for money" should always be in our minds.

Spend within your means and you should be ok already.

The G1 is not exactly G1 per se. Quite a lot of re-issues.

The other link for mixed transformers seem to be quite pricey considering the condition of the toys. The GF sonic bomber is Korean edition! I dunno. But to me for RM4k plus seem to be on the higher side. Maybe other members can give their opinion on the value?
