For me, the nighthawk only good to destroy, 2 Nighthawk = 1 Turret, no afraid of EMP and gattling Scenario 5, laser turret can shoot nuke cannon as long as there's something else / unit to shoot in front of the nuke cannon, looks like a richochet. Nuke cannon is a disappointment if you look at it from Terran Siege Tank point of view. A row of laser turret can really hold the line really good. Nuke Cannon Attack Range are longer than his line of sight, use attack ground Scenario 6, there's no way you can stop incoming Auroras from destroying your super weapon, Stealth SCUD Storm may have better survivability due to its stealth buildings. IIRC 7 Auroras and/or 5 Alpha Auroras can take out super weapon facility. If u too much depends on superweapon, that will be the results Scenario 7, Overlord + ECM tank combo being overwhelmed by horde of RPG trooper, ECM have tendencies to zap vehicle within range so use Quad Cannons to either distract 'em or destroy it all together. ECM can still be damage with RPG troops and/or buggies in sufficient numbers, i.e. 10 or more focus fire. No comments Scenario 8, humvee with TOW + 3 missile defender + pathfinder + humvee that heals can pretty much pawn every land unit with its kiting technique, i.e. go within shooting range, back away, stop, back away, rinse, repeat. However ZH can be pretty micro intense, and from the replay I’ve seen GLA multiple attack can be very impressive, e.g. distract opponent then send in technical full of suicide bombers, target their tech building, e.g. palace, dual flanking tunnel with buggies and/or bus full of RPGs, etc. Micro player always play better than macro Miscellaneous . . . My favorite unit = Alpha Aurora, the #1 glass cannon unit. Like to mass Quad Cannons. Will be very pissed when my airfield with 4 Auroras being take control by enemy. Like Air Force general the most albeit never really did master ‘em. One time was playing against China AI and their Black Lotus can take over building while running around – wth!? Demolition General SCUD Storm my favorite super weapon. Dragon tank has great potential for clearing bases, i.e. supply lines. EMP turret is so annoyingly effectively its almost retard a defense building. Demolition bike is unpredictably effective. Infinite resource generator building, .e.g supply drop zone, internet something something and black market somewhat promote camping and long dragged out games, e.g. LASER GENERAL, camping, seal their base with laser turret, backup turret with Commanches, get Aurora and particle cannon, bomb opponent back to stone age, waltz into their base and take ‘em down. Etc. I'd say there's better RTS games for LAN, W3 and SC being the obvious choice, DoW series & RA3 looks good but never got to try it out, etc. AoE too complicated for me simple mind. |

I watched some documentary that this game was rushed in relations to Iraq invasion.At that time, US was preparing to attack Iraq.
This makes me loath this game. Taking advantage of war at other ppl country to boost game sales. Ppl at US was imagining they're kicking Saddam butts when playing this. |

The documentary I watched is how America is promoting war to their ppl. That time not yet attack Iraq. There's poll whether or not to attack Iraq, and they promote war so intense until can change poll from 90% not agree to 80% agree in months only. Sry if this off topic...lol the game I played a bit only, cos my brother still bought even though I boycott I like RA2 better all in all, this game is so rushed, I dont think its that good.It supposed to have fmv, but the production was cut halfway. |
