QUOTE(little_pixie @ Feb 4 2010, 04:09 PM) Haish. I experienced BIS disconnected 2 days in a row. And my friend said, he also experienced the same with his DiGi broadband. My life is so freaking miserable without BIS... haiyak! But I got connected after 2 hours. Hope I will never ever experienced this thing again. There is some data service outage according to @digi_telco twitter feed. But I think now all back to normal.Oh btw, I only experienced this thing in Seksyen 7 Shah Alam. Near pintu belakang UiTM.. At Setiawangsa (my house) no problem at all. The speed is so laju there. You should follow their twitter to get the latest update. |

QUOTE(powerfulcool @ Mar 3 2010, 07:12 PM) digi website says i cannot tether using their service APNwhat's stopping me from connecting my bb to the pc and surf away anyway? BB newbie here. Digi use blackberry.net as main digistrm for online media streaming to tethering, we need to change to diginet which Digi will know and charge accordingly. |

QUOTE(skuirtgun @ Mar 31 2010, 12:25 PM) I dont think Digi has Bold at all. This so-called Roadshow is only for Curve 8520. I think they are too bz "Milking" those Iphone buyer..haha. They promised to launch Bold 2 by end of the month, but still nothing from them. So don't hold your breath. A lot of people are asking in their FB page, but they are not answering any questions regarding Bold 2. |

QUOTE(twL @ Apr 22 2010, 01:59 PM) i jz got a information from Hong Leong Bank's catalouge, If not mistaken, 1 person (IC number) can only register 1 DG Smart Plan.u can buy BB 8520 from Digi with 12 or 24 months installment, RM143 for 12 months or RM91 for 24 months, but not for other phone. i wonder if i buy BB from them with HLB installment plan, is it possible to get HTC Legend after 2 or 3 months with 24 contract? or we only can buy a phone under the DG Smart Plan contract, no matter from HLB promotion or not? So if U buy BB under HLB with yr name, IC. Dont think you can register another one lo. But correct me if I wrong. |

QUOTE(ahtiven @ Apr 22 2010, 06:00 PM) hi all blackberry people! About the upgrade, some claim need to wait for 3 months period only can upgrade. You can dchat or call digi to ask about it.im currently using Digi rm58 digi bis unlimited. bought from midvalley roadshow last month. can i upgrade to rm68? the digi centre lady said i cant. assume if i can upgrade to rm68, can i use it on other smartphones then? for example n900. the digi lady said not possible unless i register a new line just for it. another question is, im using bb9000, if i buy bb9700... will i able to move all the service/stuff to my new 9700? if so.. how? For change BB, you can use Desktop Manager feature called "Device Switch Wizard". It will back up yr old BB data and transfer to new BB. Simple and easy |

QUOTE(hasribus @ Jun 5 2010, 02:14 AM) Yes, MCMC. My issue is not with the counter guys. My issue is with what they put up in their website. Hey bro,http://www.digi.com.my/internet/smartplan/smartplan.html DG Smart Plan™ Enjoy the best smartphone deals and set the Internet free for only RM68/month with DG Smart Plan™. It's the only all-in-one plan for BlackBerry®, HTC, Nokia and all other smartphones. Monthly Internet Unlimited Plan @ RM68 includes subscription of Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) Honestly I was confused, I thought that "all in one" meant that with RM68, meaning pay RM68 and can use on both Blackberry and non Blackberry smartphones. These bloody Telcos are really manipulative. 3 weeks back I complained directly to Jason Lo..Tunetalk offered additional 20% credit for every RM10 reload. When I reloaded RM50, no additional at all. The explanation was, it was only valid for RM10 denomination reload. After the complain, Jason acknowledged it and now it is rectified and clearly stated. I just took out my digi Simcard (under DG Smart Plan RM68, BIS activated) from BB Storm 2 and pop it into my Nexus One. I can browse net, update apps, use Market, twitting happily le. So this answer your question and save U the effort to complaint to MCMC. |

QUOTE(hasribus @ Jun 5 2010, 03:29 AM) Of course can la bro. It will be charged separately, the RM68 is either for blackberry unlimited OR non-blackberry smartphone unlimited. Not both. I was told of this by the counter guy and the careline confirmed this. Haha..U rather trust "by the counter guy and the careline" instead of some1 that did the actual test?I checked my digi "Unbilled Transaction". No extra charge. So I not sure U got kelintong or what... You had to understand in BIS we set the APN as diginet same as what I set in Nexus one. So, if BB no charge, what is the logic U think Digi will charge when use on Nexus One or other device?? |

QUOTE(friedbeef @ Jun 9 2010, 09:46 AM) I've confirmed with their customer service that it's diginet for RM68 packages, and digistrm for the older RM58 packages. Yup. I can double confirm. If U paying RM68 per month, use APN=diginet If U still paying RM58/month (old package), use APN=digistrm Added on June 9, 2010, 11:15 am QUOTE(sandcool @ Jun 8 2010, 08:29 PM) need some advice, currently using the maxis iphone ivalue plans 2. Paying RM155 per month, but the iphone my wife using it. I am using nokia e71. Plan to get a Blackberry bold 2. But the ivalue plan contracted 2 years and i started the plan in nov 2009. Your plan wont work. Can i subscribe the digi smart plan, paying rm68 for the unlimited access, but this unlimited access i use it as broadband ( currently using maxis broadband to online),if i subscribe the digi smart plan, i will stop the maxis broadband. so the blackberry bold 2 i will use back my maxis line, the digi unlimited access will use as modem to online. Maxis ivalue will not give U BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) for your Bold 2. So U will miss out a lot of BB feature like Push Email, BB own IM client and etc. If U really want to use digi as mobile broadband. U can configure your Bold 2 to tethering under Digi line. Google "Blackberry tethering" if you dunno how to configure. This post has been edited by mikelanding: Jun 9 2010, 11:15 AM |

I believed my SMS is the cause of the additional GPRS charges of RM0.10 each totaling RM70++ per month. I'm on Digi but not DATA plan and the GPRS charges is killing me. Go change your plan to DG Smart Plan. I assumed U dont have any BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) on your Storm 2Have anybody encounter this problem and how to solve it.... PLEASE HELP TQ |
