If you use it for just email, yahoo, BBM, FB and other social networking program, then it sould be enough. The RM2 charged for Digi Prepaid did not covers youtube streaming and for tethering you will be charged another RM5. Whereas, the Digi Smart Plan, for the RM68, u can almost use anything.. The choice us yours then.. smile.gif

@payne11

I also have wifi @ home, but trust me, pay the extra RM8 so u can surf in peace, or maybe stream youtube videos once in a while without worrying about getting charged extra RM5.

Hi, m new in this forum, m contemplating to bold 9700 or wait for torch to come out(I've never own a samrtphone b4). I went over to a phone counter today and he was promoting bold 9700 and the fact that he does not know that torch is coming out soon. but nways thats not the issue, he was telling me that digi service provider is not good as celcom and celcom has better coverage as well. the only good part on digi is thats cheap. so just wanna know what u guys think of the provider's service. oh yah, digi RM68 plan is only for the internet usage only?

guys, wanna ask something.if i only want to register digi smart plan only(without any phone deal), do i have to pay anything during registration?

If you are already One Plan user.. any other digi plan user.. just convert without any charge... I convert my .. they give me new sim.. no charge at all...

But if you are new customer.. If I read properly from Digi webpage.. u have to pay RM100 upfront...

Guys... I got a question... the RM100-RM199 discount and RM200 discount apply to ppl who use RM68(smart plan)+RM32 .. or u usage is RM100+RM68(smart plan) only entitle ??

I call center.. they said.. the usage have to be RM100.. but I read from the smart plan Q&A is only RM32.. thanks..

from my understanding on the Q&A, your usage of RM32, apart from RM68 will do. means that add up to RM100 of your total bill then you will be entitled to the discount.

if i'm wrong, pls advice. notworthy.gif

Hmmm..

Firstly, I have no issues on telco network. Recently converted from maxis to digi due to cheaper rates and packages. If not mistaken, for celcom and maxis the package has to be both calls and data. For digi, for any calls or sms, you will only be charged when you use it. I rarely make calls using my phone as most of my friends were on BBM. So, that is a bonus for me. Coverage wise, no comment on digi. So far so good and the connection is fast and stable. Bold 9700 is quite the latest one here. Soon it will be BB Torch, but don't expect it to be too soon. If you plan to have Bold 9700, Digi do offer a package for it. But you have to be tied to the contract period. Other than that, can just get the phone and then register the line. It's your choice bro.. smile.gif

just downloaded BB Desktop Manager yesterday, tried on the tethering. its just so easy to set up. few clicks in the descktop manager will do. however, there is a pop up window saying there will be a extra charge. dont bother the pop up message, and the speed is jt much faster than digi broadband, funny right? ahha ...
