Finally i am on digi now. Also my supp although iphone not bb. Experienced something strange today. I called the cs this morning to enquire about my BIS activation. I was told that it would be activated in24hrs time. Fine then. Had lunch at BTS and while wandering around, drop by DiGi center cos my friend also want to change from celcom to digi. While at the centre, i tok some time to ask the cs there about my BIS. He look at my phone, which is 9550 VZW to check on the BIS. 15 minutes and suddenly i was told that my 9550 is not compatible to digi. Reason is that verizon wireless has do some changes in the IMSI in June which makes it not compatible to use with digi network. BTW i don't even know what it is. Feeling shocked i left and head home. Still feeling unhappy abt it, i took my bb, do a pull batt and suddenly when it restarted, the bb logo appears and the device has been registered. That was funny... Suddenly everything is ok.. Now am back bbm with a big wide smile...

guys, wanna ask something.if i only want to register digi smart plan only(without any phone deal), do i have to pay anything during registration?
*
You only have to pay the RM68 as an advance payment. If u have a supplementary under your account, then supp line will be charged RM30 per line. On top, if they are using BB or any smartphone, another fee of RM58 for internet subscription or RM68 for BB user.. smile.gif

right now still in Digi BIS prepaid Rm2 per day.

wanna change to postpaid plan RM68,
but if use prepaid only RM60.

Only use for email, y,bbm etc.

is it worth to change to postpaid?
*
If you use it for just email, yahoo, BBM, FB and other social networking program, then it sould be enough. The RM2 charged for Digi Prepaid did not covers youtube streaming and for tethering you will be charged another RM5. Whereas, the Digi Smart Plan, for the RM68, u can almost use anything.. The choice us yours then.. smile.gif

Hi, m new in this forum, m contemplating to bold 9700 or wait for torch to come out(I've never own a samrtphone b4). I went over to a phone counter today and he was promoting bold 9700 and the fact that he does not know that  torch is coming out soon. but nways thats not the issue, he was telling me that digi service provider is not good as celcom and celcom has better coverage as well. the only good part on digi is thats cheap. so just wanna know what u guys think of the provider's service. oh yah, digi RM68 plan is only for the internet usage only?
*
Hmmm..

Firstly, I have no issues on telco network. Recently converted from maxis to digi due to cheaper rates and packages. If not mistaken, for celcom and maxis the package has to be both calls and data. For digi, for any calls or sms, you will only be charged when you use it. I rarely make calls using my phone as most of my friends were on BBM. So, that is a bonus for me. Coverage wise, no comment on digi. So far so good and the connection is fast and stable. Bold 9700 is quite the latest one here. Soon it will be BB Torch, but don't expect it to be too soon. If you plan to have Bold 9700, Digi do offer a package for it. But you have to be tied to the contract period. Other than that, can just get the phone and then register the line. It's your choice bro.. smile.gif

Yup, Digi were facing internet problem yesterday as at 5.30pm until 6.00am this morning. I called the CS at 3.00 am after numerous attempt to resolve the matter (i.e batt pull etc) and were told that the internet service at Digi were down. Woke up this morning and everything went back to normal.. Phew.. Can't stand a day without BIS.. smile.gif

Hi, i have a problem, i'm new with BB Storm 2, i been having additional charges on GPRS eventhough i have off the 3G. I believed my SMS is the cause of the additional GPRS charges of RM0.10 each totaling RM70++ per month. I'm on Digi but not DATA plan and the GPRS charges is killing me.
Have anybody encounter this problem and how to solve it....

PLEASE HELP
TQ

Change to Smart Plan. Only RM68 monthly (the ++ will be your pay per usage calls, sms an mms..)

Hi all,

Yesterday i bought a BB Bold 1(OS ver 4.6) and i am a prepaid DG user. After bought the phone i send an SMS to 2000 (ON BB FD) to activate my BIS and until now i am not connected to BIS. The edge or sometimes 3G symbol was not in big letters. I know i am not connected.

Tried to pull out the battery and off and on the phone multiple times but still the same. Called DG helpline 5 times and all assisted me to activate my BIS on my BB but i still could not get myself connected to it.

FYI, one of the DG helpdesk support told me to go to Menu > Options > Advance Options > Host Routing Table and click register now. Off and on the phone after 10 mins but still the same.

Called them again and a another helpdesk consultant picked up and told me to go to Menu > Options > Advance Options > TCP/IP  and type blackberry.net at the APN. Restart the phone and should be able to connect to BIS but it does not.

Called again and another girl pick up and she says she has escalate this issue to DG BB expert which is unavailable yesterday and promise to return call in 48 hours!!

Wasted 3 hours on these and up until today morning no DG support call me. The funny thing is i owned the same model of BB which i bought a week ago and straight away go to DG Center in Taipan and in 5 mins! i am connected to my BIS! Why can't these people do the same to help me via the phone support??

Anyone here can help me?

Appreciate it. Thank you.

I have faced the same situation during my conversion to digi from maxis and BIS activation.

1. Called the CS first time says that my BIS will be activated in 48hrs.
2. Called again the next day to check and were informed that they haven't received my BIS application.. ohmy.gif
3. This is the best one. Went to Digi Centre in BTS and were told that my 9550 is not supported with Digi BIS.

Suddenly, two hours later, after a batt pull, my BIS is finally active.

I personally think that Digi should have their own BB Tech Support. That would be easier to track your issues and problems handled by those experts in BB configuration and issues.

Anyway, am happy with my BB and Digi.. rclxms.gif

guys, any idea what is wrong with Digi for the past 2 weeks? my 3G blackberry logo keeps disappearing at random times. had to reset network to get it to appear back & it disappears again after some time. its annoying! any help?

me too.. having the same problem. i wonder what is wrong with the connection. bis always disappear that leaves with only 3G connection. hopefully it's just a small and temporary issues and will be solve quickly by digi. otherwise, they might lose their customers..
