Elphy: I read your work log. If you want, you can wait a few more days. I am cutting my top panel for my radiator, once done, i will have 3 fans pushing air from below the radiator outwards. Later i will get 3 more Typhoons and install them above the radiator for pull. So it will then be push pull 3 fans bottom and above.

I think the picture you posted is the better choice. I would have done the same but i don't have any modding skills. You can wait a bit and see how mine looks if you want, though it may take a week to sort out.
By the way does anyone know any good 140mm fan?    I want to install 2 to the front of my case.

So your saying the Lian Li stock 120mm and 140mm are worth replacing?

Well i wasn't really sure Kev. I guess i leave it with 3 fans in push for now and see how that goes. I'll check the temp and noise level first.

yate loons fans are sleeve bearing, means not as robust as ball bearing...

the reason they recommend yate loons running vertical is mayb the lifespan of the bearing, i think if hanging horizontal with bearing against gravity, eg.. top as exhaust, might reduce the fans lifespan...

actually yate loons are not superb performance fans, its just best performance/price ratio at overseas... but when it came to malaysia, it become expensive...

but the quality are good compare to CM etc, still 1 of the best fan to get...

So basically the Lian Li 140mm are good cause apparently their dual ball bearing.

I guess i won't change the stock 140mm, but i want to try the Gentle Typhoon for the exhaust because i know it's a good fan :]

Not to say the Lian Li is shitty, just that i like how the Gentle Typhoon looks and the CFM for the noise level

yes ill say gentle typhoon has been recommended by many as the ultimate  radiator fan.

its not so much it has wonderful performance but rather its more balance. wut u want is low pressure drop when the air goes through the radiator fins.

u wont notice much difference in temp so much maybe a 2-3c so i wont worry bout spending too much there. if u want ultimate cooling buy a marine aquarium chiller its like 1-2k ringgit and will chill water to 16c, i got one for my fish tank... if u dont mind the power bill its basically a aircon.....

Why should i incur the cost of sending back the wrong part when not my fault?

I'm not doing that gonna ask them how their going to resolve it since it's their mistake.

Anyway my rig is at moderno if anybody wants to go there for a look or to rob it lulz....
ps: since the kink coil is 1/2'' od, is it recommended to stretch it to fit 3/4'' od ??? Will that work ??
