i feel sorry to hear from TS experience with sony.. But how come below forum member namely Kerplunk can get a new unit from sony?  Is that sony only allow to claim warranty based on hardware failure?  P/S: quote from WE2010 thread. noob question sorry> if my house doenst have Internet connection, is it OK if i buy PS3 slim? is it running smooth like everyone else?
or i just cannot play online games? please advice. thanks

Bluddy hell..Just now my controllers failed to pair up with my ps3...
Ive read some post in this thread regarding controllers cant connect with the ps3 wirelessly?Yup ure correct i just only face this problem..So there is nothing to do with fake controllers!
All i did was press the reset button several timesd(but did not work though),then i off and on back the system also several times then only suddenly the wireless controllers can pair..
Damn u la SONY!!!!!!

faizpsp89, if you have other unused 2.5" SATA HDD, do try it with your PS3, let it format it and install the System software, see if the problem persists or not

you shld get the technician name and send a complaint to sony.
always backup ur ps3 using ext hdd drive, just in case, hdd is so fragile, donno when we can use crystal for data storage hahaha (maybe after 30yrs of tech advancement)
