anyone getting their car in jan 2010? did yr SA tell u exactly when the factory will begin building your car n send to your SA?

My fren yday juz get his City but he said got speed cut at 140km/h. Is tat true?

Finally, my Blackie NHC is park in my house’s car park. Overall the car is  ….dun hv time to explore yet but y dun hv first aid kit 1 ar? Honda really cut cost until like tis? 

    Haih, I think my Waja jealous edi. Yday I drove my Waja to dealer thr and parked at thr thn I drove NHC back. At night my bro went thr and wan drive back the Waja. Mana tau, the car's clutch got problem..gear cannot change. Luckily he managed to repaired it and drove back home but tis morning whn I wanna drive it to work, the clutch got problem again. Whn press is like no feeling at all thn I asked my mechanic come and check, he said clutch pump spoiled edi. Changed and now ok edi. Haih, luckily…
Tis sat going to send my Waja to change the whole set of clutch pad, gear oil, engine oil, oil filter and etc. Dun jealous ya Waja…I still will sayang u 1.

Loving the collaboration shown in this thread. Anyone know where I can change the default NHC's audio player to touch screen based which has GPS navigation, bluetooth, DVD player, and those fancy stuff? Well actually, I just need the GPS navigation but I don't mind other features that come with it. Do recommend some brands (best if you have pictures, else I can just google it), the price and the shop where I can get it. Also, best if it fits nicely into NHC without any modification - I am not sure if there's any original accessories from Honda for this audio player.

Ya, I paid lots on downpayment totalling RM55,480. Took loan of RM36k so the additional RM3k plus are interest. I took the modulo bodykit as well. See bro, eventhough I am taking 3 years loan but I am already losing more than RM3k of interest to the bank in the span of 3 years. Imagine what you can buy with that amount of money (get a laptop, change to better rims & tyres etc). I learned from my grandfather never to take car loan for a long period of time as banks will gain huge interest from it. I can go for a HONDA CIVIC and repay it for 9 years with repayment of around RM700-800+ but what's the point? Car is a depreciating asset so I guess a HONDA CITY would be enough.

Those days, the maximum repayment for car loan is only 7 years. Our Bank Negara extended it to 9 years. As an ordinary consumer, they might think this is something good but if you were to look deeper into what is going behind the scene, it is not. They extended it to 9 years because our purchasing power are depleting. They don't want to car industry to slow down thus extending it to 9 years. See, consumers are losing out in the end (will need to pay huge amount of interest in the end). You have to thanks that to out gomen 

Oh yar!! My car arrived in the sales centre already. Will be getting next week after settling all the registration. Booked 1/12/09. Receiving it tentatively on 10/3/10.

Nothing is perfect bro. That is why they have a 3 years warranty ma    Red oil is most likely brake oil. Better send it back to service centre.

I asked the SA to tint for me.. 3M.. cheap cheap compare to vkool.
Bought insurance for tinting also. 

thats why it has higher fuel consumption when traveling within the city whereby the first 2 gears are frequently used, must take care of the footing. me is still considering because its a honda and it has good looks compared to vios.
it doesnt matter actually, they're engine blocks made of metal that doesnt need adaption. the oils are only lubricant as long u change accordingly.

the discussion here is quite boring. interest rate, free gift, delivery date, lock tech, tint..... from v1 til v5 same thing repeated

Backseat sidestep has no light...

I managed to convince the SA to install imitation ones.. warranty all intact..
4 side got light.. less than half the price.

Hi guys...really need some inputs if possible. I'll be coming back to Malaysia soon (finally) and I'd like to buy my very first car. Honda city seems pretty much within my budget. i saw the price guide in The Star motoring and HONDA CITY 1.5L E i-VTEC will cost RM 89,980.00.

My question, will different dealers give different prices (preferable lower) and since the 2009 model has been out for a year now, I'd expect the price to drop. Should that the case? Would anyone what could be potentially be the lowest price possible for this model, ie: less accessories.

i just did my 1k service before reaching 1 month and now there is a sticker up on the big screen that says this

service: 1000km
date: 15/3/10
next service: 5000k  ---> suppose to be 6k?
next service date: 15/5/10 ---> suppose to be 15/6/10?

now i thought the next service should be 5k after the 1k meaning at 6k right? and i thought i was give 3 months to complete my 5k service from my 1st service date meaning is should be 15/6/10 right?

malaysia car stolen case so many? u really dun scare ah?? haha becos i know thief they like to steal car with NOTHING AT ALL....meaning not even a physical security lock (even cheapo one).......  

insurance can cover la at most 90% of ur loss, but still got other loss in terms of time, ur personal belongings etc le....haha

i am going to install some local security lock + connex satellite tracking system then i think perfect liao 

of course not 100% secured, but at least feel safer....

ic, seems like a lot of ppl like 3M tint also. So how is ur experience with 3M tint? really can effectively reduce heat or not???

comparing to vkool, which one is better???

1 is leather wrapped, 1 is not .

Btw.. just test drove the NHC  ~ really floor the pedal kaw kaw and see the rpm meter hit > 4 ..... The power is amazing

guys, have u ever tried whole tank for urban drive or city drive? what's ur NHC fuel consumption? i can max get 12km/l - 12.5km/l only..

NHC is really such a heavy beauty =.='' 
feel like changing to 15" light weight rims plus good comfortable tyres~ make it better pick up, more FC save, and more comfortable~

For me, current FC is 10.1km/l
I'm quite satisfied with it.
Only need to pump one full tank per week.
4 full tanks a month.

Maybe the fuel consumption reading is incorrect.

Yeap that is one of the issues but i knoe that u cant expect too much frm a RM 89k car.And another thing is that when ur doing 160km/h and u want it to go faster u have to lower down to 3rd gear cuz lowering down to 4th gear is useless.The revs just go up but totally no power at all.And if you try to do 160km/h in 5th gear and u just step on the gas harder to go faster, nothing happens,I tried once press until the floor but 100% nothing happen!So that is some of the issues lor.But still love the design but hate the gearbox.

Yea some of u guys might say why i drive fast,well then why put 5 gears if its not meant to be driven fast?
