QUOTE(Calvin_PB @ Nov 19 2009, 06:39 PM) well, i also not so sure when it activate and how it activate.., i just know floor the pedal hard, then rpm go over 3 follow to 4 and u will see your rpm will reach 5 very fast, and sound veeeee coming, and your car approching very fast.. thats i can feel my vtec on everytime i floor it..., well of course FC will not become as what you want.., actually whenever you step the pedal harder a bit, even in 2-4k rpm range, it will suddenly jump, there's where 'i-vtec' come in... |

i feel more fuel saving with RON97... but i rev a lot with it... end up similar mileage with RON95...
but of course not money saving... it's slightly higher in terms of RM/KM for RON97... however, i only tried one tank, just for sharing... so far, i only recording it down for reference.... my FC for 33 liter is around 360-390km becoz of revving... but not big issue at all wat.. even very bad FC... it's just around RM8 matter... omg... can we have lesser FC discussion here... its bored... it's either human factor or car problem... human factor then change it... car problem then complaint to SC & Honda or put some mod on it... |

QUOTE(SheepMekk @ Nov 21 2009, 06:10 AM) Yeah I stopped counting after the light is on. Not sure about everyone else though u stop counting after the light is on... so how you gonna calculate your FC??? Same here! A full tank revving and a full tank light pedal driving, both also nearly the same! Weird. Yeah fc is a never ending topic. And I am about to bring one up LOL sorry My friend is driving a vios.. 1 bar of petrol = 66km. Total 8 bar. Wtf? And the worse part is his driving style is more to revving.. Compare to me, he revs a lot. Added on November 21, 2009, 5:33 pm QUOTE(chooikw @ Nov 21 2009, 10:49 AM) do u guyz use the paddle shift in normal driving? is there any special skills we need to learn for optimizing the paddle shift? no special skills needed... if you drive manual before and know at how many rpm and km/h to change gear then good for fuel saving... QUOTE(eufoniusR @ Dec 1 2009, 02:06 PM) Hi All, as for color, choose the one you like enough... sure all give you different answers here...Do you think white color is nice in NHC? I've asked the SA about the color and it allocation, according to her the white is solid not metallic and still no allocation for that color yet but can place a booking now. Booking period for NHC still 3months.. booking period, they sure tell you 3 months... but is max... normally can get around 2 months+-~ |

QUOTE(ktleow @ Dec 20 2009, 05:06 PM) Hello guys, now i wait it every time... already become a habit... just like checking the alarm indicator when i lock the car... unless got people try to rob you or pose a threat to your life, there is no reason for not waiting that few seconds.... i think is about 3 seconds? impossible 10 seconds that long...I was told by the salesman that once I had entered the key, I need to wait for the electronic systems to be checked first (there's an orange indicator on the RPM meter). This usually takes about 5-10 seconds. But my question is, do we really have to wait for the light to go off before starting the engine? What if you need to quickly drive off that place for some urgent reason? |

QUOTE(bjay1482 @ Dec 22 2009, 07:45 AM) why say new Vios FC better than NHC ler? I think it's very very subjective and it depends alot on the way it's driven. My fren's vios and my NHC got the same consumption in one of our road trip. well, no source on the figures given... but i think the figures comparison given is quite true... 0.7 liter difference for 100km.... RM1.26 difference with 95 Petrol... about RM0.0126 difference each 1km, the same which my friend have compared before and i think i've shared in v4.0...because NHC tends to downshift always when you step the pedal harder and you feel the power surge while you won't find this in Vios.... + the weight of NHC is more than Vios... this is not surprise at all... better pick up??? gear 1 and gear 2 only? who can prove that Vios have better pick up after 75kmph? |

QUOTE(ktleow @ Dec 23 2009, 06:37 PM) Here you go, took a video a couple minutes ago sorry that i mistaken what you said before... because i didn't read properly... the one you mean is malfunction indicator lamp... you don't have to wait that... while the one i mean is the fuel indicator lamp... what the sales manager told me is to wait it to move up then you can start the engine... it move up within 3secs...sorry for bad quality, poor cameraphone.. so if you look at the orange indicator inside the rpm meter, it stays there for about 20 seconds then it goes off.. do i really really have to wait 20seconds before starting up the engine? Added on December 23, 2009, 7:59 pm QUOTE(-PuPu^ZaPruD3r- @ Dec 22 2009, 10:50 AM) Sorry bro, the source is from.. now only i notice it's Vios J... with 120kg less weight compare to NHC S spec... while never mention Vios J AT or MT.... http://www.zerotohundred.com/2009/auto-new...efficient-cars/ Asian Auto - Mudah.my Fuel Efficiency Awards 2009 and it has the same FC with BMW 320i... so there is nothing to be proud....
