Can the CITY's 16" rims fit in 195/55/16 rubbers?? I can't seem to find good rubbers like michelin that has 185/55/16 tyre size...
*
there's very little good rubber that can fit the original rims cos it's only a 6J width rim.
if fit a 205 width tyre the tyre wall will buldge up not so nicel.
that's why i choose change to 17" 7.5J rims, more choices for good rubber.

So bro, can 6J rims fit in 195/55/16 tyres? I don't want to go 205mm as noise will increase.
*
should fit 195. just find good rubber, it's the only thing holding your car to the road, I'd rather pay more for good rubber.

Already lowest edi..
Still very high..
Compare to my old wira.

NHC platform based on Honda Fit/Jazz, since it is high on that, it is high on our NHC as well.
but most cars are getting higher "views" nowadays, better view maybe?

If not the colour I want, I won't buy from them, i'd go elsewhere.
it's sometimes their lansi attitude that I can't take it, we are customers and have to take their shit.

I just came back from workshop doing wheel alignment, the guy told me the stock 185 width is too "thin", it should have at least came with 196 on 16 inch rims.

In Singapore, the City does not come with electric folding mirrors, it's not even an option nor an accessory, I'd trade colour for that option. Anyday. ahahhahaha

besides, u guys got consider civic before or not? becos a 1.8 civi only costs rm114.98k which is only like rm15k more than city rm90k only...

with better spec, feature and bigger car size also........... shocking.gif  shocking.gif
*
I was considering the Civic 1.6 vs the City before I bought mine, the price difference is about SGD17K (RM39K) in Sillypore, that is one of the reason why, and the other reason is…. Civic is so much Zheng-able than the City.. so I can save some money if I get City instead hahahahahah

from jb, the SA only free me the tint when i made the order, i just called up yesterday to check with him on the delivery of my car, and at the same time, i told him that i do not want the tint, can get cash rebate instead, he said no prob, he will talk to his boss... but i dun know how much rebate will it be....

becos i believe the tint they free confirmed those normal tint only which i do not want. I had decided to go for the 3M best tint which costs only rm1.8k whole car. I find it is worth it.....

The 5 years unlimited mileage warranty does not extend to the previously purchased ones, I think it's only for those who purchase under this promo….

I am from SG. tongue.gif
hahhahha
well, to me, for any kind of accessory, if it doesn't add either safety or power or fuel efficiency, i shouldn't do it hahahah

the boot tray is worth it. it's going for SG$300 here so I just bought industrial rubber flooring and cut it to the shape to protect the boot.

NHC is not so common, but it's very prominent at driving schools.
I don't think the visor will reduce wind sounds, i feel it creates more drag, more drag=more friction=more noise, besides, it's cheaper to get it in SG i think, got lots of places that do it..

The City is a cheap entry car compared to Civic or Accord range of cars, so I discount that out of my head and accept whatever noise there is, it aint a Lexus, cos I didn't pay that kind of price.

I bought mine at SGD53K (~RM122K) now the price has gone up to SGD83K (~RM190K) rclxub.gif
and remember, SG models don't even come with auto folding mirrors… cry.gif

The only thing that I am toying to do with my NHC that does not fit any of my criteria is the chrome trimmings around the windows to make it more "Accordish" or "BMish" . tongue.gif

The best motor oil for our NHC.......

been using that since 3rd servicing… Best!
But Um using the fully synthetic one for Vtec Engine, 5w40 cos mine manual
engine is much much more quiet and engaging than when was using Shell Helix Ultra

here in sillypore, they give you Full Synthetic, Shell Helix Ultra, but they charge you twice the price of the same oil you buy outside, that's why I use Honda's Vtec oil instead, which is also half the price of what they charge.

What is wrong with my NHC.. icon_question.gif
Fuel consumption is 10.0km/l
Terribly low.

My RPM meter has never gone beyond 3k before.
Already driven around 1k km now...
Just done with first service.
*
When I first got the car, was driving very carefully not going beyond 3K rpm before first servicing also.
was getting around 10+km/l also... but after servicing, wack like no business and does lots of long distance running, so averaging around 14km/l. Then after change rims to 17" and 205 width tyres, consumption went down to between 12-13km/l

Um going to go for my 4th servicing soon, after change engine oil sure better, that is if I can put my foot higher hahhahahah

I made my own. bought a roll of industrial rubber matt (anti slip, anti oil) for around rm80, took out the original carpet and cut out the shape on the rubber matt, now still got spare to use elsewhere.

but custom cut one is confirmed not as nice as original one rite? only rm200 why dun u just buy it? save the trouble also, they will install for u....rm200 only.......... biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif  biggrin.gif
well, it costs SGD200 here. it's just a piece of rubber/plastic to protect water spills or when carrying some wet stuff or stuff that can make the boot wet (iced meat, groceries). Took me 10mins to trace and cut it out with a knife, 10mins, save SGD200, why not tongue.gif

Eh no bro... There's difference in quality of glass. I don't know how to explain it but you can visit their official website & learn more about what goes into making a quality glass.

Btw, I thought of changing my horn.. it sounds too "GAY". Does HONDA offers option for horn replacement at their SC? I don't want to void the warranty by changing it outside.
*
Hi, please be aware when changing horns, it may or may not (depends on the horn you change) burn the fuse that controls the horn and the brake/reverse lights. so if you find after changing horn, the lights don't work, means the fuse has blown and needs to be changed to a higher capacity one.

I've read on Honda Fit (US forum) that they have successfully used Honda Accord (07/08) horns in their cars and also the Honda Civic, because it uses the same connectors and power, no "cutting" is involved, just direct replace.
And because the horns are all within Honda specs, it won't burn the fuse.
Now, since the NHC and the Honda Fit/Jazz have very similar heritage, I am speculating it's possible to put Honda Accord horns in our cars.
Any takers?

Jazz, Made in Japan, pay thru your nose.
Same Chassis, just that NHC is lengthened slightly in wheellength
Jazz chassis is considered ready for track in japan, just need to do abit of mod.
same engine as nhc

I'll visit Tenaga Setia SC on May 3rd for rusty knuckle coating. Will ask them whether they can change the horn or not. Damn! Really sounds GAY ler the horn..  sad.gif
*
I asked before, they can't confirm if the Accord horn works in City/Jazz, but they won't change the horn for me. sad.gif
not say gay lah, i feel it's so "weak", horn like mad when necessary, lorry also don't care, cos they can't hear you.

Bro arlam, does the Accord horn has the same spec as our NHC? If yes, I don't see anything wrong replacing them.
*
it's based on conjecture since I don't own a Jazz/Fit and or Accord to confirm.
idea is, Accord horn fits in Fit (pun not intended), Fit/Jazz same almost engine wise everything as NHC/City, thus horn connector should be same
