QUOTE(tehoice @ May 16 2010, 12:19 PM) wah, i felt that NHC is like a beast hidden in it's beauty! haha. can this NHC really smoke dugong? original without any mod... possible? well, 0-60km/h NHC will never get to win the vios due to our NHC gear ratio, NHC weight, NHC SOHC engine. however, after passing 60kmh, here comes the NHC torque. by the way, there are few vios edition. i'm saying Full Spec (E) NHC and Full Spec (Sportivo) Vios. If u compare with J spec with manual, well sadly say we cant compete it at ALL no matter 0-60 or above.

QUOTE(choon hon @ May 16 2010, 03:26 PM) Is there any long term effect if lets say we rev the car till 4.5k and above? I just travelled outstation with my CITY, and rev to approximately 4800RPM when entering the curvy road session (the feeling of G force pushing me into the bucket is speechlessly awesome), where the peak torque can be obtained. IMHO, any rev above 4800RPM is useless la, only for the sound. Unless you trying to obtain top speed la. If you keep revving like no tomorrow of course, not good for your engine. Otherwise, everything is fine

Anyone know what oil they give with default unit? Mineral or semi?
My first full tank from SA only lasted around 300km but I try to maintain less than 2k rpm.

I collected the new City 3 days back. Noticed the bar near the disk brake (I think they called it shaft, not entirely sure) has some rust...anyone else having this problem? Will they fix it? Thinking to complaint during the 1k service and get the anti-rust done then. Please share your experience.

QUOTE(Thrust @ May 15 2010, 10:41 PM) Bro, it's car mat. Not car mart. QUOTE QUOTE (tehoice @ May 3 2010, 11:43 AM) QUOTE (Thrust @ May 3 2010, 11:12 AM) i am at SC now. It will take me half a day to get the car back. I asked them why so long and they said they need to apply antirust coating and let it dry before spraying a paint onto the knuckle. i don't mind waiting as long as it's a good job done. Currently at jalan 222 tenaga setia.
Another update. According to my SC, not all city are going to get the coat. Only those based on badges allowed by honda malaysia can get the free coating. Those city not covered under the badge from honda malaysia will not be given a free coat.
don't really understand you.. What do u mean by those based on badges allowed by honda malaysia? and what if its not? then its under what? like the other say, from outer space?
ooppss.. I think i wrongly spelt batches as badges tongue.gif the batches as in first batch.. 2nd batch of citys being produced. Honda will only give coating to the later batches. According to SC, they will only give coating to city that Honda Malaysia has given green light to do so. Else they can't coat it.
Bro, it is batchesnot badges.............. This post has been edited by kindaichi: May 16 2010, 09:38 PM

Please take note that you have to leave your car at the SC the whole day as the process kinda long.

It's Normal...NHC's petrol tank only 42 litres. So, urs RM55 = 30.55 litres only. Actually inside still got left 11.45 litre 1. Mine full tank is around RM58 to RM65+. My Waja's tank more big (60 litres), full tank need around RM100 (55.55 litres) This post has been edited by aarex: May 17 2010, 11:00 AM

If problem then you don't sign ask them to change for you a new car, right? Why still collect? This post has been edited by abubin: May 17 2010, 12:12 PM

I chose silver colour. =) Just wanna ask u all who owns the NHC, when i test drove the car, i felt that i have to step the throttle deeper in order for the car to move whereas the Toyota Vios, with slight pressure the car seems to be more responsive and starts to move. So, Do u guys felt the same like me? Somehow, i feel that the previous I-DSI engine is better in terms of pickup...
