yes.. different.. The most powerful output of cps engine is on satria neo..

by the way, can add me in waja cps list?

singchaii - Tranquility Black - 82*8- MY - Cheras (6/11/2009)
*
Gen2 n waja use same GB KF5M422V7B1 so the ratio must be same right nod.gif
Gen2 cps ratio are 3.583, 1.947, 1.379, 1.030, 0.767 (overdrive) and 3.363 (reverse) with final drive 4.312 same with Sifu spiroth
quote yesterday right tongue.gif

whats the satria neo gearbox codes? actually, bigger number for the FD is better for top speed only? as i understand, smaller FD number is meant for faster sprints...
*
actually bigger FD low speed but high pickup.. nod.gif
connection between engine, transmission and wheel:
Wheel Speed (m/s) = Effective Wheel radius (meter) x (2pi x RPM/60)/(Final drive x gear ratio)
Wheel torque (Nm) = Engine torque (at specific RPM) x (Final drive x gear ratio)

in much simpler notation:
lets say, total gear ratio T = Final drive x Gear ratio

Speed = RPM/T *low T more speed
Torque = Engine torque x T *high T more torque

so, we can say if set of same gear ratio..higher FD give more pickup (Wheel Torque) but Slower speed nod.gif
sori for babbling here hehe tongue.gif

just curious... persona gb not the same with gen2 gb rite?? if not mistaken 110km/h still below 3k rpm for persona...
*
even gen2 iafm got diff GB with gen2 cps nod.gif
diff power band need diff gear ratio..
iafm engine peak torque and power early than cps so the ratio n FD is diff
gen2 iafm (F5M41) ratio: 3.583, 1.947, 1.343, 0.976(overdrive), 0.804 (also overdrive) with final FD 4.052

for example:
5th gear G2 iafm Total ratio, T = 4.052x0.804 = 3.258
5th gear G2 cps Total ratio, T = 4.312x0.767 = 3.307

see, T cps > T iafm so at the same RPM iafm speed > cps speed icon_rolleyes.gif

dun know persona use same GB with g2 iafm or not hmm hmm.gif

LCP doesn't decrease top speed but the engine braking will be 'harder' since the momentum stored in LCP is less than stock and you need to control the throttle more when climbing uphill. But in return, you can build speed faster.

Not sure about brand, but last time I used Aerospeed brand.
*
Hmmm hmm.gif ic
actually my car mileage soon reach 40k
so i'm planning to build my car extensively like:
1. full exhaust system (wai heng) once again the argument bout the piping size and type of extractor (4-1 or 4-2-1) rclxub.gif
2. k&n drop in filter (already order)
3. Denso iridium power (oledi buy)
4. LCP (not sure it will necessary with above mod) hmm.gif
5. Bendix Metal King brake pads + disc skimming
6. Upgrade the engine oil from synthium 800 15w50 to castrol magnetec 10w40
i oledi go to wai heng sunway they quote rm800-900 for full exhaust system..isit ok guys with my mod? hmm.gif

pedang laut: go for it but i agree with ahpaul, can get the hotbits full set with some topup. i prefer to get the header and leave the rest untouched.

singchai: i used 5w-30 bardhal fully synthetic and it does sounds rougher than the previous 5w-40 shell fully syn i used. currently using semi syn 10w-40 from shell green bottle. engine more quieter. however, lower viscocity  number give u better mileage due to lesser restriction (maybe less protection?)

jvipers: i wouldn't dare to stretch that long. max also 7500kms at most and need to change filter also.. hehe..
*
actually i dont know the hotbits price tongue.gif how much rr?i think 1.5k for full system rite
that almost 2x my budget oledi sad.gif
one more 1.75" piping just to small for future mod whistling.gif whistling.gif
i think i will using same piping size 2" wif stock nod.gif

But if you get hotbit, you cannot leave the rest untouch since the piping size is different.

I'm using Mobil 1 10w50 right now and its quieter than my previous Helix Ultra 5w40, but can feel slightly heavier when accelerating.
*
i think its due to 50 figure give the heavy feel rite.. hmm.gif

Sori to hear that bro sad.gif

Btw, Mod project 40k have been done yesterday and today brows.gif
1. K&N Drop in filter
2. Denso Iridium power
3. Full exhaust system 4-2-1 extractor, Oval crossection midbox, straight flow muffler wif removable silencer and 2" ssteel piping all the way
(Rm 800 Wai Heng sunway)
4. Major service 40k 10w40 Mobil S
Verdict: car feel very light and cps engage sound much more obvious (wif silencer)dont try yet remove silencer brows.gif
But there still throttle lag and still waiting for my redline LCP coz the sale guy told me lcp for cps dont have stock yet..just have normal gen2 nod.gif

Hye guys tongue.gif
My 40k mileage mod project have completed nod.gif
1. 40K service with Mobil S 10w40 Semi-syn and Shell gear oil (almost 3 liter hmm.gif i thought oni +-2 L)
2. K&N Drop In air filter RM250
2. Denso Iridium Power RM165
3. Full Exhaust system from Wai Heng Sunway RM800
4. Redline LCP RM280 (Not so light to balance between pickup and top)
5. RapidStop 550 degC front brake pad + Disc skimming RM160 + RM80 (disc skimming directly at wheel hub using wheel reverse gear rotation rclxms.gif )
i'm very satisfy wif the improvement thumbup.gif
car feel much more light, engine much more smoother and more silent..
and like i mention before this, activation of cps much more obvious n easier to redlining brows.gif
ironically when i remove the silencer, i feel my car less pickup than wif silencer rclxub.gif its like loud for nothing..
so, i just stick wif silencer installed..silent wen cruising, loud when accelerate brows.gif love the underdog status
