Don't buy Rayban frame. I am wearing one now and the support for the nose kept bending and shifting, causing a lot of pain and pressure on my nose.  I have it fixed 3 times already within 6 months.

Oh wow that's awful, the most important thing in a specs is also comfort,it must be comfortable sitting on your nose and not slipping down smile.gif

Been wearing prescription glasses for more than 11years and what I can tell you is, go try out glasses and look at the mirror before you buy. Like everyone said, different shape of face demands different glasses design.

Like myself, I looked good with half-frame but not frameless and full-frame.

Finally, you won't go wrong with Oakley's tongue.gif

I'm kind of in the same shoes as TS. I'm 21 and i wanna get the profesional look, so i went for the oakley intake 2.0 (google for an image). it will take some time to get use with design that doesnt have an ear loop. after 2 years using it, i will say that i really love oakley design. but saying that the rubber at the back may get damaged over time. one side of mine is damaged already. but i dont really bother to repair.

oh, and the nose area is very comfortable.

Ive been wearimg glasses for almost 20++ years, i would rekcond u guys to find a good frame, either its branded or non branded but make sure:
1. It is not too tight or too small or too big for ur head. Too small resulting too much gripping and tends to hurt when u wearing for a long period. Too big means there's not much gripping and tends to fall easily.
2. Go for the spring attached frames. It'll grip better and wont go loose when ure sweating, esp. When using plastic frames.
3. This is from my personal experience so any thoughts are welcomed. If can, dont go for plastic lens. Ive been using plastic lens for about 12 years and every year my lens power seems to increased. Was advise to use glasses lens and since then there's minimum increase in myy lens power.

Hope this will at least help u in choosing a good glasses for a long run.

Phillippe Starck from Alain Mikli is good. I owned 3 frames from them. Don't buy Tag Heuer or Oakley because the quality is bad & overprice due to marketing. May consider ic Berlin...
