With the hot crazy weather in Malaysia, I was wondering if tinting the house window would help in reducing the UV and IR heat from entering the house, does anyone have any experience in this and any contact for a reliable tinting company?
Thanks
Window tinting, particularly the darker tints, actually increase the heat load. The window becomes a radiator as the dark tint absorbs the sun's heat and causes the pane to get very hot and hence radiate this heat into your house. I have scanned windows that have been tinted and have direct sunlight hitting them with an IR thermometer and found surface temperatures in excess of 140* F. Reflective tints are not that bad, but still get hot and radiate heat into the structure. Thanks
However I have done the tinting from Sunglowf.com, It is located on Denver. But you can call them to know wheter they have any branch on Malaysia, The numbers are
(303) 279-5884 and (970) 335-9600
Thanks
