you can install any car tint. i did that too and it's a lot cheaper than tiniting the car. personally i dont believe so much in v-cool so much any more (been using it in two cars but now i switched to 3M crystaline - it seems to perform better). ray-barrier for the whole house was around the price of a car tint. got it direct from the company, they came measures, quoted and installed quick freindly and efficiently. replaced one window cause got some dust stuck inside too. whole house just a few hours.

how about using kristalbond ???

its not like normal tinting that using special plastic ... but kristalbond using special coating/silicon to react just like tint also.

i spoke with them. it was expensive and i thought it wont be worth the cost.

i tinted around 320 sqft of windows if memory serves me. i dont have the pricing but it was cheaper than tinting me sedan with 3M crystaline. so i guess below 2k. i used raybarrier - the max grade from ecotint. they have cheaper options too. got all done directly from them - my contact was pauline lau (012-283 7395). she was (is?) the head of commercial&residential.

i chose their expensive tine - ray barrier. very happy with it. it helped a lot but we also insulated the roof and did other stuff. overall tinting the windows was good. raybarrier didnt make it dark in the rooms which is nice
