if change DNS using the internet protocol in control panel... isint that the same?

A Class Connection

My Connection Is Between B & C

B is already good enough. Ping 50ms - 70ms (B) not bad.
I also get B sometimes, even when my port is still 1024kbps capped.
But overall, satisfied lah. Can stream YouTube HD. Since I also upload. The speed & stability is crucial.
Don't want to wake up in the morning and see 5 failed uploads.

I wouldn't take those speedtest.net and pingtest.net's result seriously, but just enough to know my connection is fakap.

E.g. Pingtest.net test shows latency to MY server around 200ms but speedtest.net's latency (MY server) about 20ms, waffak? Consistency fail.

However there times where both showed consistency (both site shows around ~20ms latency) so there its not completely unreliable.

can i ask for some advice? i have a constant ping to tmnet speed test or speedtest.net kuala lumpur server around 100ms. but ping to tmnet dns server and google dns server averaged at 50ms. if like this can i complain?

Complain no use because apparently, I found out that only my "region" is affected only. My cousin lived next street is doing fine. Guess must have been the technician fakaped the cable to my region. Oh well, out of my 3 weeks stay in Msia so far, 2 weeks of downtime/ interruption occurred. Great...

Jesicca, where you complain to ? CFM or TM ?

It's common nowadays they upgrade 1mb account to 2mb .. I also got unofficial upgrade to 2~4 mbps but unfortunately, any time they can change the port back to 1mb ... so, try to make less complaint after this so one mess up with your new speed .. but if they change it back, try to find any excuses (problem) and make complaint as many as you can ~
