Update from my Streamyx connection in Paya Terubong, Penang. This is the second straight night that I have no connection issues and packet losses from local websites. I hope this will continue. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I cannot access any web page for 2 days. Technician came just now and got it fix. Apparently there is so technical problem with their equipiment at the Burmah Road Penang.

Whats wrong with speedtest.net ....?

wat the heck is wrong??????? frequent disconnection and my modem shows the data rate is fluctuating from time to time.

Yes I got very very frequent disconnection eversince yesterday . I bet their remote server got kissed by the lightning strike again .

How about: A complete set of useless w@nkers who haven't a clue about telecommunications; all things internet, or customer service but have a vast knowlege of blinking modem lights.

I have been on the 'helpline' twice this evening trying to get the idiots to understand what line attenuation and signal to noise ratios actually mean. Cr@p snr and cr@p attenuation = cr@p connection.
