i went there few weeks ago(gamer's arena, just beside graffiti toys), it has a LOT of sd dendrobium. RM37 or 38 i forgot. compare to other places RM50. dam nice

Oh man, just modify the shoulder and armor a bit, and Bandai is releasing them again.....
Bandai, please release totally new models instead of keep on releasing old model.....

Guys, may i know waht gold paint u guys use for sango? I mean those paint that wont come off when touch. I tried Mr Color silver, but when i touch it a lot of metalic flakes stick to my hand.

Did i see the sango reuse the same mold ofr 3 times??????????? zzzzz But cao2 and sun quan looks good =.="

Reusing the old mold to make noew model is a not a new technique used by Bandai.
Bandai has been doing that long time ago.

The most obvious one is on SD Blaze Zaku which I like to use as an example.
We have 4 SD Blaze Zaku in SD BB series and their only difference is the color scheme. (Except Lunamaria custom, has extra weapon)

And for Liu Bei, I believe is the worst case. Instead of all these new release, special edition, expo edition, Liu Bei's body kit has been used for others also, like Zhou Cang. (I can't remember what else has been using Liu Bei's body frame)

So, these cost-cutting technique have been fully utilized in Sanguo series.
Using old mold (plus new armor, weapon or helmet), Bandai created new characters.



For SD Ingram, not yet released in Malaysia.
May be another 2-3 weeks.
But I bet TM and Graffiti should have stock on this.

anywhere still can find any of the zakus of seed destiny? blaze zaku phantom(rey's unit) and gunner zaku(lunamaria's unit) and duno 2 more is it in bb series. 1st choice would be local retail shop. online shipping fee is O.O

hmm about repaint of zaku, i dont really mind because the characters does exist. I still waiting for the blue one thou But sangou too much la. Is the same old characters. If they continue to do like this. I believe many ppl will stop buying as every new release is better than the current one with more "goodies" at same price tag. So might cause some ppl to wait, wait, wait ,wait ~

i stop on gaiden and shin line up..
maybe just get those unreleased kits only..

I have stopped on gaiden series although they are labelled with SD BB warrior's serial number.
This makes my SD collection wont be complete as I am so resist in buying those gaiden series.

For shin series, I only take in those new characters.
But I have a thought that Bandai is going to separate out the Sanguo series from SD BB gundam by using this shin series.
Coz, shin series is using a brand new number.
Just my thought.

I believe Sanguo series is the best ever selling series in SD Gundam until they can have full force of their design team to go into Sanguo series.

Just imagine how many non sanguo related SD gundam being released, not counting those using old mold?
I think just SD gundam Exia, SD gundam 00 + O Raiser, SD gundam 0, SD Unicorn in between of 40-50 Sanguo gundams.

So, you can imagine how much money Bandai has milked from us using Sanguo series.....

One question here, I am not really into Sanguo stuff and wonder why you guys like it so much? I mean I like Gundam due to the anime / games (SRW particularly) and that's what got me into gunpla but Sanguo? Don't really like the design too

now days have to be selective in buying the sango sd. too many remold characters.... crazy bandai....

i buy becoz they got nice armament..
but repeating characters and need alot of paint job..
make me boring edy..

now i move to paint my old² gundam..

I think most of SD gundam fans don't really follow the gundam anime/game.
And in fact, not much SD gundam anime thus far.

So, for me, I like Sanguo series becoz:
1. I am really into the history of Sanguo.
2. I like the complex armor design for this Sanguo series. They are not like the regular gundam which is so 'robot' to me. Thats why I like musha gundam as well.
3. I can see Bandai's creativity in coming out with the Sanguo series SD. Simply mix and match can make it into another new character. This wasn't that flexible in previous old series.

I know Sanguo series does create a lot of difficulties also like painting. Masking job is definitely a tough one when dealing with Sanguo detailed design on the armor and weapon. (I hate that too, that's why I just manage to complete one Guan Yu so far )
And also, the remold strategy make everyone feel disgusting. And also, same model released over and over again. (yes, I am talking about Liu Bei. )

But overall, I like Sanguo series and definitely Bandai is moving into that direction to produce more and more Sanguo gundam since it has already opened a new line for it, the shin series.
