Hi,

My GF has dark complexion. She is chinese but looks like malay. I would like her to have whiter, fairer skin.

At the moment she is using Nivea extra whitening Night cream (@ night) and Nivea whitening lotion (@ morning). Both only applicable for body.

Do you have any recommendation on product to use on her face?

I heard abaout Olay/Garnier and Neutrogena.

Which one is the best and produce good result? money no object

Thank you

I think Garnier Whitening cream is good, I was the user too. XD

For daily facewash, you can try nanowhite awakening show wash. It cleans face effectively and prevent pimples.

Garnier Whitening - GOOD product which I've used so far.

But then again, I suggest to modify your diet than those cosmetic products. Adopt more milk, water, yogurt, fruits and soya bean.

All major hypermarket has it in store. Carrefour would do just fine. I think your girlfriend looks just fine. As long as her heart belongs to you, nothing else matters, right?

I think wat matter most is someone's heart, not look. BTW, skin bleaching is harmful to skin in long run. Try Shiseido or Kose product for whitening. Its a bit expensive but work wonders. My mum used to look a bit malay too but she got fairer after using the products. I never know coz i got very fair skin, so i never dare to try all those whitening ones. Beaute de kose white succeed range cost about RM500 but very good (according to my mum). U can look for it at metrojaya or parkson. They have special counters.

what you pay for what you get........i wouldnt say the result given by olay...garnier,nivea and neutrogena would be good..those advertisement just pure b/s~so..no need to waste money on these product anymore...the result is very little only..

less exposure to sunlight would help to prevent getting darker...but if you really want her to turn into very fair.....i dun think those product which you buy over the counter will help...

unless you ask ur gf go for what our late MJ did... sweat.gif

bro, using only face whitening products will make her look weird (only facial part is fair). its better to look for foods to consume for overall whitening. and make her use sunblocks and try avoid direct sunlights, etc.

is that really matter what is her skin tone? If you love her, love her as one.

it is still ok if you wanted your gf to use daily product... but then skin bleaching?? is that a lil too much? do you have any idea the effect, pain and the possible consequences you going to cost her?

and have you ever put yourself in her shoe? thinking what is she might be thinking now?

i used to have darker skin color... after staying indoor for years(not in purpose), i got lighter complexion.. at least 4times lighter. and recently just went sunbath, n get tanned again.

hmm, ever wonder whether these whitening products will cause any long term harm in future?

But fear not, there's always make up to cover these aftermaths.

thinking about the consequences of using all these products makes me think that we are all like a giant test rats... we can only discover the harmful effects of a product after long exposure to it (like the harm effect of using plastic as food container).. it makes me wanted to avoid artificial product (for use on human) as much as possible.. just my thoughts..

regarding the skin whitening product, if i were u, i will just accept her as she is.. coz the most important thing to me is her soul and love towards me (i know looks is important, who can deny that, but to me its not that important.. unless if she have a scary scar on the face, only then i will be searching for remedy).. i have a mum that seriously looked like chinese, but my dad didnt go make her look dark to look like a malay.. tongue.gif hehe.. whatever pleases you bro.. smile.gif n good luck with the relationships.

Go read at wikipedia, seems fair skin has something to do with social supremacy. That's why most people even darker skin people prefer fair skin.

I was born to have fair skin. Nonetheless, I don't see any problem with those who has darker skin color.

I mix with friends from different skin color and some of them are pretty outgoing and sociable, too.

My gf had dark skin too, it's not me but her.
She said, a girl in fair skin look classy, prettier, elegant and younger.
She feel inferior when she saw a beautiful elegant auntie with fair skin shopping around.
*her classy meant rich look. got lv, burberry but dark makes her look so unmatch, lol.

garnier whitening, noted.
