its gud if u want to help ur gf, finding products & so on..u cn play a part to boost her confidence first lor..and slowly use whitening products. coz i personally think that bleaching is not necessary. just think bout d consequence..

by d way, if u wanna try beauty supplements for body whitening, u cn hv a look at my b'white thread. works from d inside out, keep skin glowing & fairer... icon_rolleyes.gif

May we know if your girlfriend's butt has the same dark tone or much fairer than normally exposed skin? If it's same tone and she doesn't sunbath then it's probably naturally dark skinned, if it's fairer just have her stay out of sunlight & wear hat if needed.

Also don't eat "hot" food.

My gf had dark skin too, it's not me but her.
She said, a girl in fair skin look classy, prettier, elegant and younger.
She feel inferior when she saw a beautiful elegant auntie with fair skin shopping around.
*her classy meant rich look. got lv, burberry but dark makes her look so unmatch, lol.

garnier whitening, noted.

I see I see.

"Hot" food? You mean spicy food or fried food?
I eat chili everyday just that I'm not fond of fried food.

u can go to those 'klinik kulit' and ask about vitamin c injections

i've personally never tried it, cause sometimes it works after 2-3 jabs (1 jab per week), but it doesn't work for other ppl (even after 6 jabs)

That's the results of skin lightening products advertisements. =__= Advertisements in reality, screws with our mentality. Women of colours can still look elegant and classy, it's the way they carry themselves.

Like what advocado said, check with her if the skin tone is the same all over her body is the same, lesser exposed areas (say back, inner thighs, butt) are always fairer, if they're the same tone that only means that she's born with dark skin.

I've tried Nivea and it works (for face). Good luck to you. smile.gif One of my friend uses ampoules and she said that it works too.

Anyway wikipedia states that aristocrates or people born of noble tend to have fairer skin, 1 reason is back in the old days noble man prefer fair skin ladies, 2nd noble people tend to stay indoors more often, thus genetic & environment produce people with fairer skin. I know it's abit of elitism but this is the true history for mankind, at least in europe & african countries.

Also fair skin tend to have a more "shiny" look while dark skin tends to be less obvious in terms of facial contrast (fair skin makes the eyes/brows/dark hair more outstanding) while dark skin ladies are more like "hidden gem", needs time & effort to spot the facial distinctiveness. I guess it goes the same way with the bodies... it's like Cars with Glossy paint VS Matte finish, both have their special but most people prefer Glossy.

One thing about Dark Skin is that the face/body will look more 3D. If you watch sports like NBA, the Dark skin guys usually look much fitter than the white guys, even though both have the same hard muscles, the white guy usually look soft & weak (so this illusion also takes apart the Slave vs Nobleman appearances)

Only vitamin c jab will not really get fair....have to take Tationil Glutathione + Vitamin C.....The most effective product on the market is Japan NC24 Whitening.....But if you wan the gf like the Taiwan celeb 'Big S', she is using Glutathione+Vitamin C+Tranexamic Acid, which is more costly....

Most of the whitening products are harmful to skin. And the whitening effect doesn't last long. Love her and accept her for what she is.
I would suggest her to take in some fruits that rich in vitamin C, wear sunblock and stay away from the sunlight.

guys,

do you have any beauty/skin specialist to recommend? I might wanna get her to do a michael jackson skin bleaching...

Thank you

seriously, if your gf is the who wanted the bleaching and fair skin, then nothing wrong. But if you are the one who wanted that, I think you should break up with her. Pity that girl la, born with dark skin, its in her genes!

Use skin care products, will not lasted till forever. Will turn dark again.

bleaching, skin whitening, etc: might get skin cancer, latter in life

Hi,

My GF has dark complexion. She is chinese but looks like malay. I would like her to have whiter, fairer skin.

At the moment she is using Nivea extra whitening Night cream (@ night) and Nivea whitening lotion (@ morning). Both only applicable for body.

Do you have any recommendation on product to use on her face?

I heard abaout Olay/Garnier and Neutrogena.

Which one is the best and produce good result? money no object

Thank you

over the counter products makes claims they cant fulfill, biologically speaking pigments or melanin formed in the skin are influenced by genetic or other factors such as duration under the sun, the best way is to 'slow' the formation or melanin, cosmeceuticals ( cosmetic + pharmaceutical ) products are more effective and the next level is nanotech factors, these proteins are delivered to the cells which makes melanin and before melanin are being made they are tricked into not making them, to cut the long story short, by just products its almost too slow and your gf would have to use products and stay indoors indefinitely until desired fairness is achieved

Shiseido white lucent if not mistaken . Never tried it but I think it's worth a try ! Or maybe even shu uemura .

One thing to ask , would your gf like a fair tonned skin ? I'm quite fair for a guy and it sucks to have pimples ans blemishes . It's really really eye catching as it's very visible .
