I have reviewed the penalty in the overall context and IMO its a penalty.
*
You're studying for refereeing badge tongue.gif

There's no 2 ways about it now, we're screwed this season. When you cant beat a relegation candidate at home, there's seriously something wrong. As Duke point out, with the internationals out there playing, we should be beating them convincingly. Hell, its gonna be a long hard season for us just to get into top 4.

At least Ngog is progressing nicely, in a nice & bad aspect of his game wink.gif

Captaincy is about driving the team forward.

His gesture in May 2005 says it all.
*
Exactly, the play & dependability on a captain when all go wrong is what matters, not stand up like a thugs. So yes he inspire the team with his play & dependability, so he's a worthy captain.

I have no question  about him inspiring the team to play, to win matches but that's The very same reason why we failed to perform when he is not around. We depend on him way too much.

And as a captain, he should know where he should stand. The incident where he talked about Keane leaving in January back in last year November(or was it december?) was something inappropriate.

I'm not asking for him to be stripped off captaincy but I think he should do better because he is capable of.
*
That is rather the problem of the team or the gaffer.

Though the Keane incident is really unbecoming of him shakehead.gif

for the 6+5, let's bring the english talent to Anfield now...

Carlton Cole (west ham) - equally talented to Heskey, he's maturing under Zola...

Jermaine Jenas (spurs) - why don't we use him instead of Lucas?

James Milner OR Ashley Young (aston villa) - i think both is a good prospect for english football. and why not?

Anton Ferdinand (sunderland) - a shadow for his brother. will be a good successor for Carra.
*
Carlton - realistic target
Jenas - possible but don't think he'll come
Milner/Young - Out of our league since both will cost 20mil above
Anton - better promote our youngster.

His goal/game ratio is the best among RM strikers then. But when u up against a still slim Ronaldo & Rm icon Raul, he think he'll be able to dislodge both of them in starting 11? Just like Macca, both of them were signed on the cheap & meant to be 1st class replacement though Macca established himself much more than expected.
All said, though Macca was great for them, he's consigned to history no matter how well he played once the Galacticos era kick off.

torres born in madrid, support atletico since kid then play for them..

owen is a different case.. born chester, support everton but choose to join liverpool youth

Why don't u ask why Giggs, Beckham, Fletcher or even Tevez don't join Liverpool. They're not borned in Manchester.
It's the same freaking reason why Owen's not exactly popular here. wink.gif

The biggest piece of crap they call a pundit has to be Paul Masefield. He's arrogant, he's self-centred plus he looks downright like a egoistical d***.

He speaks as if he knows the world about the game but just take a look at his "glittering" career. I believe he never made than 10 bloody starts for any club he has played for. And we're talking about illustrious clubs like Bromsgrove Rovers, Jurong FC, Stockport County and PNE.

What a tosser.
*
Yeah, he's an arrogant b****. First time seeing him, I thought he must be some kinda player to speak as he did. How wrong I am about this doh.gif

I wonder, since Anelka may be getting a new contract, and believe me this is something very, very rare to speak,

what happens IF Anelka suddenly decides to go to Liverpool? (I heard he was once a liverpool player, no?)

LOL

just a speculation tongue.gif
*
The bridge is burnt (pun intended) the moment GH opt to sign serial spitter instead

Anyhow one of the reasons Thommo mentioned in his autobio was that Anelka agent cum bro been hawking him ard europes' team behind our back, hence it scuppered the deal

bring him back, put him in a Everton derby or ManU match, boy... he'll not want to go anywhere else.
*
Sell him for 30mil rclxms.gif

Well, RB should really consider bring him back as back up to Torres, else how else will he have the experience? I'm not really convinced by Ngog. Sure he has a good touch but what use of it, if u keep giving the ball away?
