then Torres can weave a hattrick and Aqualini can contribute a brace and maybe stevieG can contribute one,so finalscore 6 nil

Well reality check, it ain't gonna be every year that all the English teams will advance from group stages. Didn't watch the game tho, just realised that the lineup didn't have Torres and Aquilani only played for 30 secs. doh.gif

If Im Rafa, I'd compete with Roma for Pavlyuchenko. Forget about those high class signings from other league, probably will be another flop. You know what is truly a bad time for manager is when they signed someone who perform well in previous clubs but couldn't continue that stint. It does happens to some managers, so there must be a change in approach...Liverpool should go for quality player who's flop in other club.

I have a hunch that Aquilani won't be able to start in another 5-7 matches more,
*
5-7 matches more?! Just because of fitness problem? This situation reminds me of Owen in Newcastle.

20mil should at least worth a playtime of 20 league games...Not 20 mins. How many times ppl want to hear about problem with match fitness? This is absolutely absurd.

Who in the world set such an absurd rules of 20m should play at least 20 league games? He didn't play for 9months.He got tummy...He has to take time to put everything right... sweat.gif
*
No my point is, adaptability comes with playing time...u know. No wonder the yanks can be so angry. I don't think 1 Aquilani will affect the whole team performance.

alot of people scream at rafa for losing alonso which they think lead to the predicament for today, no?
*
I don't think Alonso really did anything either, except he has some confidence about shooting long range and try his luck. Rafa mistake is not that he's losing Alonso...the bigger mistake is himself.

Yea right..We know how badly Arsenal were after Flamini/Vieira gone... sweat.gif
*
I don't think Arsenal is bad and I don't measure a team by how much they winning games/cups. It's just that, is not so right of a practice of manager not playing a player who's worth 20mils...It's called laziness, lazy to analyze his player potential, lazy to see, lazy to experimenting.

The point is physical or not Aquilani still need that exposures you know...He has been rested for too long already, it wouldn't matter anymore for him to get injured again and begone for the rest of the season. At least do something for this guy man if he wanna play.

Scenario 1:

If he didn't play Aquilani, this coming Fiorentina match

Outcome:
WTF!Rafa is shit, Lucas is terrible.(Yeap, everything is related to Lucas.Just in case you guys didnt know Lucas caused the economy crisis, global warming etc etc...He is the main cause... laugh.gif ) Buy him to warm the bench? Even Plessis plays more than Aquilani!

*
I saw someone comment about this, he must be Babel supporter... laugh.gif

So, what you reckon he is?Red card generator? He is well known for his passing and that's the 1st reason Madrid buy him.

*
Well, I don't know if Madrid buy him because of his passing skills, I thought he's more like a dribbler to me.

To me,He is worse dribbler than Gerrard when the latter isn't even a dribbler to begin with.
*
My wrong...but I still think he's over-rated. And long range passes is all about 50% confidence and 80% luck. It only works in Liverpool, I guess. whistling.gif

Are we talking about the same Xabi Alonso here? You don't get lucky over the course of an entire season. Hmm your comments are kind of suspect especially after you claimed that Alonso dribbles a lot.
*
Yeah, maybe I was talking about Riera... blush.gif
