Aquilani, i felt sad for him. He just played for 1min and he need to back to changing room and bath. Its worse than not being subbed. mashe kuyt stevie was great and our ngog too. Lucas decent. Agger did a nice run to penalty and yet not shooting it.

We can win the europa cup

With that sort of a performance? Dude, we can't even score more than two past Debrecen, whereas other teams score goals like f***..

We play like that, and we'd be sent packing. First half, we play good. Second half.. iunno. Division 1 football?

Hi guys, just came back from a mamak.

A win is a win, at least something to smile.

However, there are few things that lingers in my mind:

1) the substitutions. I've just made a quick read, and I think my concerns have been voiced out (particularly about the 2nd and 3rd Liverpool substitution)

2) Ngog = GOOD!

3) Same thing as ever; we lack finishing, (keep missing the sitters) and we have REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALY shaky defense. Thank God we were spared that embarassmant of DRAWING and getting out at the same time (or even worse, probably a loss)

I seriously think that we really need to look into the coaching staff. What the hell happened?

And good riddance of Babel and Voroynin.

I think Babel made a gamble by babling about first-team chances. As a result, Ngog was selected, and he delivered.

By the way, just to add a point, is it just me, or is it that I'm probably hallucinating a Zidane-mimic in Ngog? (footwork wise)

f*** this shit..

Why the f*** was Dossena sent on? And what the f*** does Rafa expect Aquilani to do in like what... 30 seconds? And why the f*** take out Ngog.

That didn't result in us going out, I know, but still... thats shitty.

This is sad sad.gif

we needed the squad depth.

Or to be precise, we COULD / SHOULD have a better SQUAD depth, but the Yanks denied Liverpool that opportunity.

I would, had he not brought on Dosenna, removed Ngog and introduced Aquilani when there was only like 30 seconds for him. For f***s sake, what the f*** can he do in thirty seconds? That's shitty, and I'm sure Aquilani wasn't too pleased. Saw his face when he came on? That's NEVER a good sign...

we're out but don't worry we'll be back in 2011... coming up next is Rafa debut in Europa League with Liverpool. So far, his highest achievement was 2005 with what they called the 'Houllier's squad'. There Must be someone who can win the Premier league with 'Rafa's squad'

I would agree, no, correction...

I DEFINITELY agreed. It was one of the worst tactical moves by Rafa Benitez in his history as the manager of Liverpool FC.

Now, as much as I want to blame him, the thing was 2;

in this game, the players didn't delivered the goods.

OFF the pitch, the YANKS didn't delivered the promise.

The physios suck, the coaches suck (translated into injuries and and lack of match fitness)

I can't really blame the manager. As much as I wanted to.
