Wow....resolution 2500 x 1600
Got name on this!

Hi bro what will happen if use low/mid level GC on the HP 3065, will it damage the lcd?
Hope that can fullfill my knowledge
Sorry for the noob question
*
No it wont. For normal use like web reading, excel working, It will working fine. In gaming, if your graphic card unable to handle it, it will turn to black screen( you can hear the game sound but no display), else will very lagging, loading like snail.

LCD is fine, but graphic card crying because he been "rejected" tongue.gif

as today is last day of promotion prices, I plan to get either ST2210 or ST2410~

sifus, size doesn't matter for me, only the picture quality, will these two be the same?~
*
Actually that can consider not a promotion prices. you will notice it if you visit their page every week in every month. even after today. there will be same thing came out with difference expire date.

Pick 2209WA if size doesn't matter but picture quality.

The example for "real promotion discount" Dell monitor discount with coupon conditions apply.

just went over to dell's webby, prices of ST2210 and 2209WA have risen since yesterday when I placed the order~ ST2410 is still RM679 but no more bundle offer with the V3V RM50 printer~ this should be their pricing tactic for PC Fair to clear stock~

I think I'll have to stick with ST2210 instead of 2209WA~ crap~
*
Rise how much? I did't notice it. sad.gif ST2410 still bundle with cheap printer leh blink.gif

QUOTE(sexualpower @ Apr 30 2010, 04:19 PM)
wow, thanks for your help~ the DELL guy says that I can edit since I'm paying by credit card and there is allowance of time since no one have yet to call me for payment confirmation~

2209WA and ST2210, last chance for me to choose is on Mon (probably someone will call me then)~

I read earlier that 2209WA is an older model, how would 2209WA and ST2210 compare for me who only watch movies with the monitor?~
*
Due to difference panel, 2209WA offer more color accurate then ST2210 and having a wide viewing angle. Thats a reason why 2209WA expensive then ST2210, Even ST2410.

But 2209WA are 16:10 which is resolution 1680x1050. Unlike ST2210 are 16:9 which is FullHD resolution 1920x1080

What about displaying a 10MP photo on a Full HD (1920x1080) monitor and a HD Ready (1024x768) monitor.  Do they have any difference?
*
No difference. Just you have scroll the photo more then FullHD monitor when you view in actual size.
Non Actual size? No difference too.

k thx bye
QUOTE(Everdying @ May 7 2010, 10:54 PM)
if you got like a 24" at 1920x1080 its going to look bigger and still as sharp.

and whats 1064? u mean 1024x768? thats not HD at all.
HD ready would be 1366x768, which is just a fancy name to say it can watch 16:9 ratio movies nicely...but its definitely not HD.

the image should probably look as sharp if your 1366x768 monitor is an 18.5" / 20" etc.
but if at the same resolution when you go bigger like 24" or more, it should get more pixellised...and thats where u need better resolution.
*
Don't know, I copy and paste that resolution above my post tongue.gif
thanks your explanation
Our view may difference.
We know 10mp picture resolution higher then 3200x2000, so usually we looking at smaller size. lets say view at 30%(960x600)
display in this 2 monitor suppose to be same. no? where I missed?
Display in full size yes 1920x1080 have more space to view. poor 1366x768 have to scroll more to see other area.

Ok simple explanation

Smaller dot pitch = smaller pixels = sharper.
If the 1920x1080 is a 63" LCD, then 1024x768 15" LCD will display sharper images if viewed at the same distance.
*
This I know.
24" 1920x1080 with 24" 1600x900 yea 1920x1080 sharper.

24" 1920x1080 with 17" 1280 x 1024=?

1920x1080 sharper because he is 1080p?

rclxub.gif  I'm not talking about resolution difference here, if 63" 1920x1080 LCD vs 21.5" 1920x1080 LCD, which LCD will display sharper images at the same viewing distance?  rolleyes.gif
*
I do not believe computer lcd monitor have 63" size(and pair with that resolution).
If you are compare LCD TV vs LCD monitor.... No, I'm not talk/compare about that.

So, Computer LCD monitor. 24" 1920x1080 & 17" 1280 x 1024, Display high resolutions without scaling or stretching an image, the image will always be in full sharpness, although it can't display full image at full screen.

Ok. reading now. thanks
QUOTE(-kytz- @ May 8 2010, 10:29 PM)
Again, the 24" 1080p monitor will still look sharper because it can display 2 million pixels. In picture clarity, number of pixels is the most important factor besides viewing distance, size of screen and ratio between source and display(perfect ratio of 1:1 is always desired) smile.gif
*
So in this case. 21.5" 1080p are more sharper then 24"/23" 1080p. Like this correct? rclxub.gif (still reading...)

Yes, it will look sharper nod.gif ONLY if you come close enough to notice it.Else, from 4-5 feet away, it's totally negligible.Again no worries lar if you wanna buy up to 27"++ 1080p monitor, sitting 5-6 feet away, i highly doubt you can see any pixelation

I guess you're interested to get a monitor? How much is your budget then other forumers can help you with model suggestions smile.gif

Nope. I'm interest in discuss this. never paying attention on it before.
