Assembly everything and try, erm, it seem not so stable for my weight(damn, i am too heavy), hence i cut it 5 inch shorter from 24" to 19"
user posted image

Done, waiting it to dry after primer and glue

This question sure will pop out. hey man. for such thing, it is damn cheap!
oh ya, i forgot to buy the end cap, when i turn back to the shop, he said out of stock. will get it at other shop when i am out again

I'll break that for sure, would be stronger with high pressure pipes with much thicker walls but the cost is much more.

You're right,push ups between 2 tables/chairs is much harder!
*
not really, after i cut it shorter, it can support my BW pretty well
my BW is more or less like you 89-92kg

next project will be the dips station.

If you're planning to put it at home, then glue the joints.

Its sturdy, my friend of over 100kg was standing on one of the parallettes, most it bend a lil, didn't break at all.
*
sure it is glue, or else it wont be able to support me, but i make it too large, have redo it again
it keep shaking. gotta cut it short and brace it

I think you are referring to this

I just drew an autoCAD file for this station and gonna get it fabricated very soon. I have done a crossfit type pullup bar with gymnastic ring and my own blast strap attachment. I will take a pic of it soon
*
QUOTE(ken86 @ Dec 28 2009, 10:45 PM)
I have a pair of those Olympic rings, cost me bout RM 150.

If you can't do at least 10 bodyweight dips, don't bother trying to use them.

I also built my own pseudo-rings aka blast straps, with 1/4 inch chains and d-handles, great substitute for the rings at half the price. I will take a picture when I m free
*
where did you get those olympic ring? RM150 is quite a nice price.
Can post the pic of your pseudo ring, want to get some idea how to build it
thanks

I think I'll just go to the children's playground and use the metal parallel bars. Can also use it for reverse row.

Oh yeah, while visitng S'pore, I notice quite a number of guys here actually use the public bars to do dips, pull ups, push ups. They know their shit!
