guys, i going over to china (zhuhai, Hong Kong and Macau) in Ocotber

I had few options, someone care to tell me which plan looks better? biggrin.gif

Before I let go the plan, please take note that

1) my flight is from Penang to Hong Kong. Reaching Hong Kong at 11AM
2) Total will stay 5 nights. Flight depart from HK too
3) 2nd and 3rd day I MUST be in Zhuhai. And will be busy for work during those 2 days so no plans for it
4) Although I been to there many times, but my GF only been to Hong Kong once. Never she step to macau or zhuhai before

So which will be a better plan for me?

1) Stay 4 nights in Zhuhai, 1 night in HK
1st day walk around zhuhai.
2nd and 3rd day work.

4th day early morning go over to Macau, back to zhuhai at night. 5th day morning go to HK and stay there 1 nite

2) Stay 3 nights in Zhuhai, 1 night in Macau, 1 night in HK
1st day walk around zhuhai.
2nd and 3rd day work.

4th day early morning go over to Macau, stay there 1 night, then 5th day morning travel to HK and stay there 1 nite

3) Stay 3 nights in Zhuhai, 2 nights in HK
1st day walk around zhuhai.
2nd and 3rd day work.

4th day early morning go over to Macau (with luggage), walk till sian, then travel to HK and stay there 2 nites

Taxi everywhere in Macau?? Not really for my last trip. I have to stand and wait for like almost 45mins before we get a cab.

Because the place we wait is not a bus/taxi stand hence people are waiting for cab here and there, no queues and whatsoever . Besides cab that pass through us is really limited

2. octopus card agak berapa for 6 days travel around those places?
3. for food, per day if eat in "char chan teng" or inside mall agak berap per meal?

I'm staying at golden wave hotel for 2 days and hop inn hotel for 2 days...is it ok?

I will be going to dai yu san (temple) then have lunch there then go to tung Chung shopping centre then followed by dinner, and then Disneyland. Do u think the time is sufficient? Really appreciate opinion from you guys who went there before.. Thanks!

And after Disneyland, if still have time then maybe can shopping at Mong Kok area,,, do they open till late nights?
*
well, this is too rush, and if u go disneyland after dinner , means that you totally skip out everything in disneyland (all the shows, taking pictuers with all the cartoons and stuff) and you are there purely for fireworks only, which i don't think is worth (unless u been to disney before last time but that time u miss the fireworks la)

btw, HK shops are not like malaysia , they close early, don't expect all the shops are still open after 10pm

Better change in M'sia, I don't think money changers in HK accept MYR.  If you want to get HKD in HK, you got to bring USD.

Though HKD is rising back, it is still considerably cheap compare to 2008/2009, where 100HKD - RM46!
*
Yes they do accept RM in those money exchange in HK, even some small ones. However yes change in Malaysia is definitely better

QUOTE(PhakFuhZai @ Oct 19 2011, 06:19 PM)
how would the temperature in HK be in mid Dec - early Jan?
*
Cold cold, lower than 20 degree

Ding ding is such a small small office lol. I was actually shocked when there as its looked liked a low cost flat house rather than a travel agency.

But yes, they are trustable and the ticket can be used, so no worries on that. Like what bobtiang mentioned above, for np360 if u did not bought ticket before u there, it's a long long queue. And after u buy the ticket , it's another queue again

For Disney the queue for ticket is shorter when I was there, but if u buy the ticket ahead, u can straight away enter

Hence it's really really worth all the fuss by traveling and finding ding ding BEFORE u went to those places. I actually bought the ticket on the day itself I went to Disney lol

Oh ya, hope those going to np360 are not as unlucky as me as on someone vomited in the cable car before I enter, although it was cleaned already but man the smell is still there @@

but some agency sell only the voucher which you have to exchange at the place.do those attraction provide special counter to exchange these vouchers?
*
QUOTE(MandyG @ Oct 27 2011, 02:42 PM)
is it we purchase online oso need Q to redeem the tickets???
*
i bought mine at ding ding

for NP360, u get vouchers and need to exchange it at NP360 there, however, i don't even need to queue up since nobody in front of me when i was there during mid October

for disney, u straight away get the ticket, and then u can enter straightaway without the need to exchange or anything
