QUOTE(su ting @ Mar 19 2011, 11:36 AM) im going to Hong kong for birthday celebration on 18-20april. may i know what is the temperature in HK during that 3 days? coz nvr went HK before, i went japan before is cold, if cold then i need to prepare coat?? and my flight wil reach HK at 11am, may i know disneyland operation time??where can purcahse the disneyland ticket?? iszit possible to finish disneyland if i go on 1pm after check in hotel?? coz 19th plan to go visit temple, walk walk n eat eat. may i know how much for the train in HK? or need to get any train pass like japan?? End of April will not be very cold, should be about 20 degree and above, nice weather and fur coat is not necessary. Just a normal jacket or sweater would do. Disneyland operation time should be 10:30AM - 8:00PM. You can purchase the ticket at the entrance, since it is on Monday, the crowd will be lesser. i dont think you will be able to cover all the attractions ie. shows and games, etc unless you really rush. It's better to be laid back and enjoy the experience. My advice is to check the disneyland website to see the showtimes and see what attractions/games to be in you must-do listt. Just get the octopus card. It is very convenient and cheap way t o travel in HK.

QUOTE(FirezZ @ Jun 2 2011, 10:54 PM) yo ... may 2nd time consult here i plan to go to shenzhen this coming october... so i guess i need to apply for visa ? and then staying there for 3 days.. and will go to hongkong.. stay there for a few more days... then back msia lo.. my question is quite general i guess.... - how much for the visa to be applied here in msia ? (rm 80 onli ? ) is the procedure easy ? - from shenzhen ... what is the best transportation from shenzhen to hongkong ? Train ? roughly how much and how long to reach there ? -after hk visit.. time to back home.. coming back from hk airport... the air ticket is expensive.. so i plan to either go to macau / shenzhen and back malaysia again ... if in this case, from hk to shenzhen .. do we need visa ? malaysia visa or hk visa ? errr hk is china as well right ? thanks For china visa application, refer to the visa thread: http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/297350and here: http://chinese-embassy.info/asia/visa-mys.htmIf you plan to enter shenzhen again, apply for multiple entry china visa. If you directly hk to macau, no visa is needed.

QUOTE(eksk86 @ Sep 8 2011, 01:13 PM) I will be going over to Macau on the last day of my trip to catch my flight. Which ferry you guys recommend to take? I know there's Turbo Jet, Cotai Jet and New World First Ferry. Btw, do they have a limit on passenger's luggage? My family and myself will be travelling with a medium-big luggage and a hand carry luggage each. Have tried both Turbo Jet and Cotai Jet, both are equally nice. I would recommend Cotai's first class (upper deck), less sea sick, can order drinks, food, nuts..Never try bringing more than one luggage, so cant help you there. Not all passengers will be bringing luggages, most only backpacks so there will be some extra weight allowances. This post has been edited by Human Nature: Sep 8 2011, 01:43 PM

QUOTE(seanwc101 @ Sep 16 2011, 02:02 AM) Guys what's the different between Guardian and Mannings. I went to HK and see many Mannings shops just like Guardian in Malaysia. They are the same, just different name for different region. On another note, MYR is on a weakening trend against HKD

QUOTE(mugenz @ Sep 22 2011, 12:15 PM) sigh, now i might wanna modify it to 5d 4n. Dunno need top up how much. Actually gambling wont be on my list, maybe just quick stroll in the landmarks and try the food thats all. Another thing ocean park vs disneyland. I heard that some ppl say ocean park is better. But izzit better to stay till 8pm for the fireworks @ disneyland? i tot end it around 3~4pm go back to city for streetmarkets and shopping. definitely stay for the fireworks
