you guys discuss till cows come home also ain't gonna change a darn thing. there's only assumption, speculation, clever guessing, dumb prediction, and the such.
DTS demoed dtsx at CES. it's documented. and this guy asked the dts rep there.  it might be firmware upgradeable, it might not. it's not conclusive. dont wanna wait? buy it lah. it's your money anyway.
