is it effective for living room environment? i'm not using for room, i live in condominium, so the living room is kinda open space
i only use it for PS3, not sure if i need extra converter or not

owh... PS3
then this speaker wouldn't work unless you got converters..
squeeze a bit more money and get Edifier S330D so you can use the digital line out

it's RM420+

I guess these aren't great speakers to pair with PS3 and in a living room... multimedia speakers are meant to be for close range listening
you need better system that cost thousands at least

Hi guys,
i'm planning to change my edifier C3 to something better,
at first I'm planning to get the Edifier S730D..but then got poison by other contenders such as Razer Mako and Bose Companion 3.
I tried the Edifier at PC Fair, well to noisy so i can't really judge it right now
as for Bose, i tried it at my friend's place. It's totally out of this world..the speaker is really nice and the woofer is great and boomy!
razer mako, din really tried it..oni seen it in action in pc fair while ppl play cs..
planning to get a new speaker mainly for music n watching movie. I like my movie to produce nice strong and tight bass

Razer Mako is pretty good... quite suitable for almost anything for anyone...
but if you could get Mako might as well get Edifier S730 for cheaper and better performance.
Bose is of course amazing but are you willing to pay just for the brand name? You'll only get 70% worth money paid... another 30% goes to the branding
Harman Kardon Soundsticks III is pretty good. Just enough bass for me though... not sure bout you
Kinda weak in movies though~
Plastic felt fragile to me
on the other hand... Aego M is a pretty fun speaker too

sounds amazing in all terms of music... slightly weak in movies
