it's Puchong by the way.
if you want to get a GPS, you will need to make sure that you know where to get the latest map updates. in Malaysia, if you go with papago or garmin, then you'll be alright, coz you can find updated maps for free. to get a standalone or a all-in-one device is a tough one, coz that depends on your preference, just note that if you use all-in-one device, the battery will run out pretty fast and the screen depends on the device you purchase.but the good thing is, you only carry 1 device and the device stays with you even though you are not in a car. |

I have tried Papago X5 on my nexus one and its up and running.
My question is 1. Is it worth it buying this software at RM 149.00? Anyone can get a better price? FYI, i'm in Penang 2. Does it really support froyo 2.2, as I worry that it is not officially supporting froyo for time being. |

Tried X5 on my just rooted Froyo Desire just now on my way to office. It works flawlessly but i heard the clapping sound and I thought it is a "feature" and I was thinking how I can turn it off.
So I can just download free map update from MFM and copy over the existing files in NaviSEA? Thanks. This post has been edited by Cynox: Aug 20 2010, 09:55 AM |
