YES I agreed.  rclxms.gif

No lar bro... for right hand side, you'll take roundabout clockwise. for left handside, you'll take roundabout anti-clockwise. So 1st exit is different for both case.

Papago have very poor rating in marketplace, use ndrive better, they got Malaysia maps oso n have full support for froyo n eclair
*
I have tried ndrive. It not good at all. Many roads missing. Even google map is better. So my preference is:-
1) Papago with MFM <- this will have most updated maps. But will wait till it support Froyo.
2) Brut Google Navigation <- Using this while waiting papago support Froyo.

about the "still have clapping sound". is it something from your previous 2.1? or just appear on froyo?

Tried X5 on my just rooted Froyo Desire just now on my way to office.  It works flawlessly but i heard the clapping sound and I thought it is a "feature" and I was thinking how I can turn it off.  laugh.gif

So I can just download free map update from MFM and copy over the existing files in NaviSEA?

Thanks.  smile.gif

emm... hmm.gif seems like Papago still got flaw on Froyo. Need to wait more.

I just changed to Galaxy S moving from Garmin on my HTC.

Try the papago on my Galaxy. Got lots a problem with Papago. Garmin lots better

Issue with Papago
1. It does not reroute when going wrong direction.
2. It sometimes stay same place after drive far from the place. need to restart the program to get new location.
3. It suddently become background program and does not say anything anymore.
4. no multitouch. compass support
5. It never tell you(voice) that it loss satelite signal.

For people having problem with X5 for android.
Dont get it from market. It never work. I wasted 2 days testing this. I am not sure why the put it there.

So regret getting this software as the quality to far from garmin.

GARMIN, pls release android version. I will queue to get it.

I am one of lucky guy who don't have problem with GPS on Galaxy S. I have tried Papago X5 (hacked one) which now I had removed. Just want to feel and compare with previously Garmin Mobile XT on my Omnia II. The result is I am very satisfied with Papago X5 and I for sure will buy it when it officially support Froyo.

1) The POI search is snappy fast. Garmin way behind where it searching by levels of radius.
2) The reroute is again snappy fast. Same like brut google navigation. Not like Garmin.. recalculating....... then got new road.
3) The accuracy is much better than Garmin. On Garmin I always missed my turn.
4) I never experience lost satelite signal when I am on open road or under flyover.
5) For your #3, i think because you press phone back instead of the software back.
6) Garmin Mobile XT got multitouch and compass??? emm... I never know it exist hmm.gif

The Beta v1.0 does not support Android Papago X5. The previous release in April still a good one.
